Emma Dent Coad, Sina Lari and Cllr Simmons popped down to that den of capitalism, Sloane Square, to lay their wreaths(the Labour one fell over)
Many councillors attended to remember The Fallen.
God Save The King was sung but EDC lost her voice and remained soundless.
Do not worry I have heard her sing "The Internationale", talk about strangled chicken
ReplyDeleteSo?
ReplyDeleteOnly EDC would write "so" as we all know she has no sense of humour. As one Councillor said . She would turn up late to board meetings and suddenly all the enjoyment left the room.
DeleteJust shameful the Labour Leader letting the side down.
ReplyDeleteThis blog has turned into a full on wacko pile-on against EDC. Regardless of your opinion or whatever anyone has done it’s really rather shocking to see how downhill this site has gone in pursuit of a petty vendetta against her. I don’t give a shit about how many people read this blog - you people are just as bad as you claim EDC to be
ReplyDeleteThe Dame suggests otherwise.
DeleteThis blog has been ruthless in the pursuit of politicians of all shades who abuse power.
EDC is a prime example on the Labour side: Merrick Cockell and Daniel Moylan were also subjected to 'vendettas'. The 'vendetta' against Cockell worked well for the residents. He was eventually kicked out and his greedy expenses and extraordinary allowances exposed. No, if you get into politics and show certain unattractive traits you leave yourself vulnerable to attack. You say the Hornet has gone 'downhill'? That is merely your opinion. The vast surge in readers somehow shows the Dame is doing something right. EDC and cronies have done much damage to a Labour Party led by by a man who might possibly put together a half decent administration. And, by the way, the Labour Party HQ seems to be running a vendetta too!
Yes Dame. It is arrant nonsense for anyone to say that this blog has turned in to a vendetta against, the Socialist, Emma Dent Coad woman. Now don't forget, the late Tory Barry Phelps was also shown up on this blog, very regularly, for the lewd images that he circulated on his Council email account. Thanks to the truth coming out on the Hornet's Nest he had to go. I remember Dent Coad crowing to me about it; with glee.
DeleteI remember Dent Coad loving every minute of Moylan being shown up on this blog. From what has been said by others recently, she was, apparently, partial to announcing "Moylan is Gay!" when it suited her. It has been suggested that homophobia is rife in the Kensington Labour Party and that comes as no surprise to me. Dent Coad has personally referred to Merrick Cockell as a 'revolting creature' to me.
The mighty Dent Coad has been shown up on this blog to be a dreadful racist by drawing a picture of a Black person being hanged. She has also had an excursion in to antisemitism but wants us all to believe that she is not a racist.
This is something that people are entitled to know about and comment on.
Thanks to you my good lady, we now know as much about this superior, class conscience, snobbish, and deluded woman as we did about the Tories Cockell, Phelps and Moylan. Dent Coad did not complain when the Tories were in the sh*t and has no one but herself to blame for the negative publicity that has come her way.
What a load of BS
ReplyDeleteMust agree that this particular thread is rather beneath The Dame. Why shouldn't the Labour Group lay a wreath on Remembrance Sunday ? Former Labour Councillors always participated in Civic Remembrance events so why shouldn't their successors ?
ReplyDeleteShe did the same for the proclamation of the King. Such a conflicted person, who pretends to be anti monarchy to her Corbyn circles then pretends to be patriotic when needed to avoid getting kicked out of the Labour Party. Do note she hasn’t said anything positive of the U.K. army defending our freedom and way of life. But she is known to disparage a Prince who fought in the Middle East. She might want to remember the great Labour PM who fought in WWI and who founded the NHS and made the U.K. join NATO.
Delete08.11 has said what I think but do not have the ability to express. 08.11 should get the Contribution Of The Year Award.
DeleteHow dare Dent Coad feel sorry for herself! She hoped that we would not see through her. She took us all for fools.
And this is the woman who has failed to condemn her antisemitic, marxist, mate, Corbyn, for saying that the existence of NATO is responsible for Putin's invasion and genocide in Ukraine. Hankering for Soviet, Socialist, imperialism. It was great Emma but you did not have to live under that totalitarian system and we don't want Corbyn's cr*p.
Dent Coadism is not for Kensington just as Trussonomics is not for Britain.
As EDC is a Stepney lass, does she know that Attlee was the Mayor of Stepney and the Labour MP for Limehouse. Limehouse was in the Metropolitan Borough of Stepney when Attlee was in and when Emma was born.
DeleteEmma has more in common with Attlee than her place of birth in the East End.
Attlee took in a Jewish child during the war BUT I remember Ian Mikardo calling out Attlee's antisemitism when he left his parliamentary seat in the 1980's. Attlee referred to too many of the "chosen people" being in government
I attach a link to a very interesting piece in Socialist Worker which I know is historically accurate and I hope Emma finds it interesting. My late father was a Trot. The local Trots used to deliver Socialist Worker to his house when he was too frail to go out.

08:25 - Emma does not speak for Jeremy Corbyn and doesn’t have to condemn anything he or anyone else says. She’s not his wife or a relative so what has it got to do with her?
DeleteEmma uses Corbyn to pump her career. As a public figures she’s accountable for the ticket she uses, can’t ride the high of anti May, magic money tree grandpa Corbyn 2017 politics without the baggage it holds from the man who voted the most times in Parliament against Labour Govts
Delete10.17. Emma aligns herself to Corbyn at every opportunity.
DeleteShe told the Guardian on the fifth anniversary of Grenfell, "My Socialism is Corbyn's Socialism." Voters in St Helen's Ward, where I live, are entitled to know whether she agrees or disagrees with Corbyn over Putin's invasion of, and genocide in Ukraine. In the absence of her disapprobation of Corbyn's claim, we must assume that she agrees with him. It is because she loyally and nauseatingly agrees with Corbyn's every utterance that we wonder at her views.
Emma was quick to endorse an anti-semitic tweet saying Israel disgraces every Jewish person in the World showing that her Foreign Policy ideas are in line with Corbyn's.
Whatever max
DeleteI know what you mean about EDC "taking us all for fools." Her chamaeleon strategy conned no one least of all me.
DeleteHow can you be on message with Corbyn and his Marxism (My Socialism is Corbyn's Socialism) and then claim you are a cuddly, non-Marxist Socialist.
A confused, conflicted, disjointed sloganist is Emma.
I think Labour would do much better in Kensington if Emma Dent Coad were no longer actively involved in Labour Party business. She has blotted her copy book too much to recover. Time to say,
ReplyDelete"Thank you and goodbye."
A graceful goodbye from that one, you must be talking about someone else
DeleteI agree 19.45.
ReplyDeleteShe was the first Labour MP returned to represent Kensington but we did not know about her values in 2017. Voters did not know that she had plumbed the depths of racism in 2010 and after her racism was called out,she ought to have been more careful about expressing her prejudices. She went on to endorse an antisemitic tweet after that. Those who are in the local party have expressed concerns about what is going on.
Nobody other than Ian Henderson has a problem
DeleteIan Henderson is a well adjusted decent man. No racism, no antisemitism, no homophobia, & no extremist factionalism from Ian. Ian is political, not sloganistic - others cannot say the same.
DeleteAn unsophisticated political thinker in Kensington Labour declared, "My Socialism is Corbyn's Socialism. "
Believe it or not Ian Henderson has some very serious skeletons in his closet that are due to come out in the very near future.
DeleteIs your choice of noun "closet" another attempt at homophobia. The term "due to come out' may suggest you are someone who has a problem with homosexuality. The expression according to the Oxford English Dictionary is "skeletons in the cupboard." People who indulge in this sort of spiteful social cruelty usually have a dark side. We know about Emma's dark side thanks to Shaun Bailey AM and 'Jewish News.' We have also heard that Emma proclaimed "Moylan is gay." Emma is straight, who cares.
DeleteIan's achievements in local political action are very impressive. He saved a housing estate in Chelsea from the wrecking ball and greedy profiteers. Ian has integrity. He would never have collaborated with the Tory Party on the TMO Board.
Labour Party members, Judith Blakeman and Pat Mason, both praised the Grenfell Activist, Francis O'Connor when he died. Emma declined to do so.
Judith Blakeman is a very nice person regardless of politics. A guy who lived on a Council estate in her Ward did excellent work improving conditions for residents. He made the Housing Department improve children's facilities, he challenged the TMO over the sub-standard repairs' works that they far too readily accepted from their contractors, and he kept an eye out for the elderly. Judith knew he was a Tory voter but she was always generous in her praise of this man's efforts. 05.17 above says Emma Dent Coad could not bring herself to say anything nice on the sad death of Mr. O'Connor.
ReplyDeleteJudith Blakeman ‘very nice person’? Had to read that twice. She is a scary old battle-axe who thoroughly enjoys giving out death stares and raising her voice but is rather meek when challenged politically. She moans, groans, rolls her eyes and engages in other rude and condescending behaviour but sits back and jumps back into her shell whenever anyone dares fight back at her.
DeleteHi 11.58
DeleteI do not recognise Judith Blakeman in the intemperate terms that run through your paragraph. "Scary old battle-axe" - I do not consider Judith to be old, scary or a battle-axe. I have had many a diasgareement with her politically and she has always been polite and courteous.
Emma cannot take the rough and tumble of politics- she resorts to drawing pictures of a Black Tory being hanged. She looks down on those whom she wished were her inferiors.
If EDC's parents had sent her to finishing school in Switzerland, she might have turned out differently.
DeleteThe finishing school would be finished with that one.
DeleteLOL. "The finishing school would have finished that one."
DeleteI've never understood why the Labour Party under Corbyn excused Emma's conduct but made no effort to excuse Jared O'Mara.
ReplyDeleteDiane Abbott MP was very close to Corbyn and power between 2017 and 2019. She excused Emma's atrocious conduct but wanted O'Mara out. She had a Deselection List of everyone she wanted to see off. Jess Phillips MP told Abbott to go away very rudely and was put on the Lord High Executioner's List.
DeleteI know Labour Supporters who decided not to vote for Emma in 2019 simply because of the way Abbott was chucking her weight around in opposition and she wasn't even Deputy Leader of the Labour Party. They gave their votes to Sam Gymiah instead.
Never ever seen J Blakeman giving anyone "death stares" but her Notting Dale successor Cllr Simmons is well known for it.
ReplyDeleteThey both are
DeleteBlakeman is Okay. Simmonds is unpleasant; foul.
DeleteBlakeman is awful!
