Dear Dame,
I am a long-standing Conservative Party member.
I was quite shocked to see that Felicity Buchan used her anodyne newsletter to puff herself up about her new job helping to 'level up' the country.
It is time she 'levelled up' with all us voters about what drove her to throw her weight behind Truss and Kwarteng.
In just two weeks these two did possibly irreparable damage to the economy.
Seeing Buchan sitting there looking as if butter would not melt in her mouth quite sickens me.
I just hope she is never allowed to appoint staff. To think she thought Truss was Prime Ministerial material shows Buchan has a judgment bypass.
Sunak should have cast her into utter darkness instead of throwing her scraps. If she stands again for Kensington she will lose.
And if she loses this seat I hope another won't be found.
She really hasn't a clue.
Furiously,
Local (one-time staunch)Conservative
Have a look at her obsequious tweets about Liz Truss before she deletes them. Knowing that Kensington was a remain constituency Ms Buchan deleted all references to her connections to Brexit Central from the Internet before standing for election. So she has ‘form’.
ReplyDeleteFelicity Buchan cannot be bothered to answer emails and letters from her constituents even. I wrote to her in July. Not even an acknowledgement. She is as much use as a chocolate fireguard. Get her out and back to where she belongs - a bar stool at The Enterprise in Walton Street (a street where she's done nothing about the holes in the pavement also). I used to think her a likeable lady and we have several mutual friends, but she simply does nothing to help her constituents when they correspond with her. What is the point of her?
ReplyDeleteHer boy, Jack, now refers to her 'Miss Buchan'. I agree with Matthew...she was all over us like cheap suits but has now become so grand. Her days in politics are numbered
