Cllr Lari has reverted to the Dame stating that he has no connection to the Shah of Persia or his family.
He has also stated that neither he nor David Kear was permitted to be involved in the selection of candidates. He was emphatic on this point. He stated that the process was run by the Labour Party National office rather than he and local volunteers.
Cllr Lari went on to say, "An offer to remedy the situation last night was usurped by staff cancelling the meeting, again without our input.
I don’t think it’s fair for someone to accuse me of conducting a meeting I wasn’t even present at. David Kear and I have written to the party in protest and asking to reschedule said meeting asap."
God what a mess at Kensington Labour. Emma Dent Coad is the Labour Party's version of Suella Braverman. Ali and Lari are dreadful too.
ReplyDeleteEmma DC comes over a good friend one day and a deadly enemy later. She is not to be trusted. I remember the way she put a knife in the back of a former Labour Councillor who at first thought highly of her.

The Party could bring in someone from Stonewall, to put the Councillors through their paces. See how uncomfortable these left wingers are talking about homosexuality and homophobia; picking them up on their dodgy use of language and their stereotypical attitudes to people who cannot help the way they were born.

How is someone whose only work & achievement in the local Labour Party was standing as a paper candidate in Campden Ward in May, the Chair of their North East Branch?

Kensington Labour is very posh. Bourgeois people. No peasants there, no Brickies, Carpenters or Road Sweepers in their number. No Dinner Ladies, Cleaners,or Ladies Toilet Attendants.

Let us be quite clear that Cllr Lari is a toff. He is very sensitive about his origins being exposed in front of his Labour colleagues but he needs to man up and stop trying to hide who and what he is. A boy at St Pauls school, one of the most expensive public schools in the country attended by the likes of George Osborne, does not come from a coal mining or shipbuilding family working class background. The proud heritage of the Marxist tribe that the Lari/EDC combine are trying to force on Kensington has absolutely nothing to do with, and little relevance to, the needs of Kensington residents.

He is more authentically a champagne socialist after the style of the late Roy Jenkins - a swagger that is more in keeping with the mores of the Royal Borough than marxist babble.. We really do not need frauds and mixed up babies strutting their stuff in public office.

The French President Valerie Giscard d'Estang had a very high class pedigree of the sort that Emma Dent Coad can only dream about. He new about Roy Jenkins's appalling snobbery. He once engineered a photograph line up of top international dignatories where he orchestrated Jenkins being shoved in to a corner in the back row. Jenkins had tried to gain prominence in the front row of the photo shoot and the French president said,"Oh no Roy, you would be much better over there."

ReplyDeleteLari and Heathcote didn't anticipate over 100 members turning up to vote so they didn't have enough space on the Zoom. After members understandably were upset, London Region intervened and put a stop to the farcical proceedings. The voting will now go ahead on Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteOf course Kear, Lari and the Viscount have no final say on
candidates in these selections and the voting, but they certainly decide which Labour members they will send notification and links to and which members they won't bother with. Such devious manoeuvrings have occurred before as some members of Colville ward will only know too well.
