As missile bombs and threats rain down on the terrified citizens of Ukraine the world's largest democracy refuses to condemn Russia for its barbarity. Its pusillanimous attitude has been attacked by India's leading historian, Ramachandra Guha LINK
It's cruelly ironic that India-itself a victim of colonialism should be supporting Russia as it attempts to colonise Ukraine.
Maybe our MP, Felicity Buchan could bend the ear of our PM of Indian descent and persuade him to bring pressure on Mr Modi?
Countries trading with Russia are no different from countries that traded with Nazi Germany.
Hahahaha...you really think Flicka will annoy Sunak over this? Buchan does not do 'stepping out of line'.
ReplyDeleteNo Indians in K&C. No point Flicka getting involved.
DeleteSunak will never criticism the Indian establishment. His wealth, via his wife, is too vulnerable. An angry Indian PM could severely damage the interests of the family company, Infosys.
ReplyDeleteA shocking indictment of Sunak's moral compass.
