Planning Committee Meeting is Tomorrow 5 October, 6:30pm, Council Chamber, Kensington Town Hall, Hornton

Street W8 7NX

        

* We need as many residents as possible to show up at this meeting to make difference. 

Please make every effort to attend and let your local friends and contacts know about this.

 

* A group of us are gathering at 5pm at the Elephant & Castle Pub, 40 Holland St, London W8 4JJ. From there we will walk to the Kensington Town Hall at around 6pm. We encourage you to join us and to attend the meeting with us.

 

* As a show of solidarity, we encourage residents who attend the Planning Committee meeting to dress in white shirts/tops with jeans and a blue blazer. Our uniform look will help convey that we are like-minded and united against this overdevelopment.

If you live, work or have friends in Chelsea Riverside please write cllr.gerard.hargeaves@rbkc.gov.uk and cllr.sonia.zvedeniuk@rbkc.gov.uk  making it clear you live in the constituency and expressing your view that this application should be rejected.

  1. We shall be looking for our Conservative Riverside Councillors to support residents and vote against the proposals . If not we shall make our feelings be know at the ballot box at the next General Election.

    1. You vote for your councillors in local elections and not general elections which is when you elect your MP. The next locals aren't until 2026 unfortunately.

  4. Dear Dame,

    There used to be a very powerful couple living in Royal Hospital Ward. This formidable husband and wife duo had considerable influence. They had the power to persuade, the many (not the few) not to vote Tory. I believe that threat put paid to the redevelopment of Sloane Square fifteen years ago.

    Do you think there is any chance of that couple joining the fray? If they do, Hands could be shafted at the General Election.
