A PLAGUE ON ALL THEIR HOUSES

Alistair Strathern MP on time out from rate setting at the Bank of England

The Dame's 'higher education' was an exclusive Swiss finishing school.

The new MP for Mid Beds, Alistair Strathern(yes, one of the Perthshire Stratherns) is a young Oxbridge man with a PPE and a £120k a year job at the Bank of England.

Al went to a  £37,000 a year public school, Bedford, and then to Oxford. How has he managed to acquire this hideous faux estuary accent? Ironically, he now wants to remove the charitable status of his alma mater! Such hypocrites these politicos. It got him to Oxford but now he wants to close the door to fellow middle-class people.

One supposes he feels the lower orders are more comfortable doing a 'one of us'

GHASTLY ACCENT

The cheeky rascal decided to take a couple of hours from bean counting at the Bank to do a Greenpeace demo in Whitehall.

That time out cost the taxpayers £400

Nadine Dorries who Al beat was eccentric but the voters now need a bit of maturity.

    Dear Dame,

Alistair took annual leave from work to participate in Greenpeace activities. Therefore, it cost the taxpayer nothing. People like him are usually prepared to shoulder losses (unpaid leave or holiday) to participate in these middle class, save the planet, demonstrations.

Those working in a factory cannot afford to do that

    1. Alistair is not like those Members of Parliament who, at the same time, serve as MP's and Ward Councillors in the same local authority area as their parliamentary constituency.

Victoria Borwick and Emma Dent Coad drew their parliamentary salaries for representing the voters of Kensington - nothing wrong with that - they got a good screw from parliament courtesy of the taxpayer.

BUT the pair of them claimed their allowances from the RBK&C for representing the very same voters who happened to live in the Kensington Ward that these two represented.

This could be put down to "enterprise culture" by right wingers or to "scrounging" by left wingers. What they have done is not illegal but it is no better than drawing and working.

    3. Dear Dame,

Do you remember those Hooray Henries and their Sloane Girlfriends who used to host the Circle Line Party every year.

These middle class yobs went down the Circle Line and spent the whole day on a train going around the Circle boozing; getting sloshed!

The Hoorays would then empty their bladders on a station platform. The Sloanes would use a bottle.

The pictures of Aldgate Station at the end of their high jinks was one of litter strewn everywhere. It cost London Transport a fortune to clean up stations and trains.

Then something happened....... The Royal Bank of Scotland found out that the Hooray Henry who issued the party call on social media was a Junior Executive straight out of university on a salary of £35K (about thirteen years ago. He was sent on nine months' gardening leave whilst the Bank decided if he should continue in their service at the end of suspension from duty.

That put paid to raving it up on the Circle Line .

    4. Alistair's parliamentary salary pays him to represent the people of Mid-Bedfordshire. It would not be "double dipping" if he accepts payment for serving on Waltham Forest Council whilst performing his parliamentary duties. He would not be paid twice over for representing the same people. Like every good socialist, he should give up the Councillor duties to devote all of his time to doing the work of an MP properly.

The people of Mid-Bedfordshire were not impressed with Nadine Dorries's failure to grace her posterior on the green leather benches for around one year whilst being paid to do so.

The Dame is ashamed to say that her ghastly nephew, Ludo, was part of that set...

I hope the good Lady, the Dame, took the carpet beater to her reprobate nephew for living it up on the Circle Line.

  3. Jolly good to see some upper class Scottish Oxbridge posh boys taking over. Had quite enough of ghastly dreary Corbyn types and their dreadful Commie friends.

  7. Well l would rank Brown first and Campbell Bannerman second. But make your own list . Strange how the English tolerate Scots as PM but ( Lloyd George being the towering exception) we will not have a welshman or woman
