Bring back Henderson! An outstanding man who has done more for Kensington's social housing than Dent Coad ever managed to do in her 17 miserable years on the Council.

Dent Coad colluded with the Tories by allowing tenants to be shafted when she was on the TMO Board. Henderson would never have played the Tory tenant managemant game. The Labour Party nationally has seen through her.

    7. 16.21 above. Please explain how Emma Dent Coad is truly representative of Kensington. She claims to be a toff - Medici, Columbus, the Borigias and an Aunt who married an aristocrat makes her truly representative of the Kensingtonians of Knightsbridge and Holland Park.

Truly representative of a woman holding down a job at Gregg's the Bakers to feed five kids, I don't think so. Emma's children went to Public School.

  7. Worth pointing out that DentCoad was never selected as the Parliamentary candidate for Kensington by the membership . She was imposed in haste by the then Corbyn controlled party officials . ( The same machine that she now condemns for blocking her from standing this time). The 'machine' ,having seen what a useless MP she proved to be ,were determined not to have her back again . They also know how she destroyed the local party to the extent that only freaks and naifs were allowed to stand at the local elections ( elections were Labour failed to make any gains )

If Emma Dent Coad is any good, she could fight the parliamentary seat as an independent candidate at the next General Election. It was Emma who declared that she organised the strategy for winning in 2017 - virtually single handedly (if I remember correctly) from her kitchen table.

    2. Ian could have stood as an independent candidate but he deserves to be the Labour candidate based on his record in social housing activism. Emma Dent Coad's record in social housing activism is less impressive.

Yes, Emma declares herself "a proud anti-racist campaigner" but that does meake it true. It was Emma, not Ian, who depicted a Black politician being strung up on a gibbett. Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party condoned this unvarnished racism and Diane Abbott bought Emma a cake afterwards in the House of Commons' Tea Room. BUT Starmer, a man of integrity, did the right thing and consigned Emma to history.

John McDonell MP spoke up for Emma Dent Coad on the teley last night saying that he saw first hand just how much she cared for her constituents when she was a Member of Parliament. He never had to approach her for help with a Council problem.

Emma Dent Coad does not have a monopoly on caring and compassion. There are lots of other caring and compassionate people in the Party who could represent Kensington just as well as Emma managed to do. Two of them who come to mind and I am certain they would both make better MP's than Emma despite her two years' stint in the job from 2017 to 2019. If Emma had refrained from Entryism then Ian Henderson might have stood a chance of being elected to care for constituents. Coban Mete is also a very caring person.

    1. Divine duplicitousness19 October 2022 at 06:29

Now remember, when you do bad things it comes back on you. A silly and stupid expression, I know, but there is definitely something in it.

We all know the lengths that Emma Dent Coad went to in order to see off Henderson and anyone else who had a chance of getting Labour's nomination to be the next Parliamentary candidate at the forthcoming General Election. Jiggery pokery, dissembling and Trotskite tactics were just some of the dark forces at work over the last six to twelve months. Emma thought, back in the Spring, that her candidacy for the next General Election was in the bag. The autumn is now on us, and in just a couple of months, it is a different kettle of fish.

Perhaps, those whom Emma saw off grassed her up to Labour Central Office or whatever the Labour calls their HQ?

Did Atkinson, Blakeman, Healey, Henderson and Press all band together and grass to Labour HQ? Just what did they dig up for the due dilligence dossier?

Or did just Labour party person squeal to Labour's powers that be? If just one person snitched, it would have to be someone who was highly respected for a left wing party to take it seriously.

Whatever happened, or just how strategic Emma came unsutck and met her deserved fate may never be known but their will be much time spent by the loony left theorising. Left wing divine duplicitousness indeed!

      Delete
    2. Why are you still peddling falsehoods? Emma did not ‘see off’ Ian Henderson. He’s still a Labour member and can put his name forward for the nomination if he wants to. He doesn’t have to be a Cllr to do that. So why didn’t he put his name on the list? Because he knows members will not vote for him. Just like they didn’t vote for him earlier this year (he was up for selection in Colville and nobody picked him).

Emma practised Trotskyite Entryism and created a toxic culture for her own benefit to see off Ian and anyone who might have stepped on her toes. Let's face it no one does toxic better than Emma. She is the one who drew a picture of Shaun Bailey being hanged and called him a token ghetto boy, a scumbag whose public school mates would drop him like a hot potato. How toxic and repugnant. We have all heard just how nasty she was to see Ian off at local level.

Didn't the Labour shower who supported Emma want Ian Henderson disciplined for helping out at the Foodbank; just because the Tories were there helping out at the same time. If she were Miss Perfect she would not be barred from standing for Parliament. Let her go independent, I am sure she will clear the decks. She is the most righteous person I know.

    3. Hi 12.47,

Jeremy Corbyn MP and Diane Abbott MP both postulated that Emma was not a racist. Since when did those two have the last word on what is, and what is not, racist.

That pair accepted that their political sister, Emma of the Socialist Campaign Group, was quoting some Black Grandma from North Kensington when she referred to Shaun Bailey AM as a "token ghetto boy" and a "scumbag." Those of us who thought differently were ignored when we argued that it was Emma, and not the Black Granny, who drew that appalling picture of Shaun being hung. Even if I buy the story about quotiong some unpleasant black woman, (and I don't buy it) Emma knew that those comments would appeal to every good racist. She drew that picture about twelve years ago and it has taken Labour all these years to do something to make her pay for what she did.

Poor Shaun Bailey. I cannot imagine how hurt and upset he must have been.

    2. Hi 19.43.

I am not a Tory and am not scum. Emma Dent Coad is a racist. She calls herself a "proud anti-racist" and exploits her association with Jeremy Corbyn MP to support this dishonest claim.

Arthur Pringle above says he cannot imagine how hurt and upset Shaun Bailey AM must have been when Emma did what she did. I am a proud gay man. I know what it is like to be abused for the way that I was born. I know how hatred of homosexuals led to me being queer bashed; being kicked along the street ending up in hospital. I think I know how Shaun Bailey felt when he was abused for being black.

      Delete
  24. Emma made a catastrophic mistake when she responded to Shaun Bailey's evidence of her nasty remarks and obnoxious picture of him swinging on a gallows.
She was interviewed about it by Vanessa Feltz on BBC Radio London. She tried saying that she was just quoting the Black Grandmother and that Shaun Bailey had said far worse things about himself over the years. Vanessa Feltz made it clear that she was not entitled to pass on those remarks. There were several pregnant pauses from Emma as Vanessa pressed her and backed her in to a corner from which she could not retreat. Emma concluded, "IF Shaun is offended I apologise." Vanessa did not allow her to get away with this backhanded apology and said, very pointedly, "IF" and Emma then managed to say, " I apologise."

The backhanded apology impressed no one. She was not contrite and did herself no favours. Every caller to that programme for the next three hours denounced Emma. Jeremy Corbyn MP told Vanessa Feltz, " I will speak to Emma about language" He failed to say anything about that violent image of Shaun being hanged. Corbyn even received a complaint from two Black Tory MP's and still saved her. Diane Abbott MP supported Emma. Emma later said that Diane accepted it was someone else's racism.

Emma should have said soemthing along the lines , I accept that I was acting in a racist way and I unreservedly apologise. My position as a Labour MP is now untenable and I shall resign as an MP so that Kensington may choose another person. I promise to be a better person and will drop the politics of the bear pit and never attack another person for what they are.

She could have even added that the concepts of "race" and "racism" are social constructs. Many people have had racist or homophobic thoughts at some time in their iives but they learn to deal with them. I will see if the Labour Party has any courses to help me improve.

    ReplyDelete
  25. The epilogue is right save for one omision. It would have been a personal tragedy for Emma to have resigned so soon after getting in but that is what a decent person would have done.

Emma thinks there is a Stalinist purge of people like her on the hard left of the Labour Party being undertaken which has denied her the opportunity to stand for election as an MP. Emma has been denied the opportunity to stand because she has had two brushes with racism: one with a Black Person and the other with every Jewish person in the world. 7. Values - the circle that Starmer refuses to square25 October 2022 at 03:39

At the Labour Party conference a few years ago, Jeremy Corbyn MP told the conference about the disgusting abuse and insults that Diane Abbott MP received through various electronic platforms. Corbyn stated no other person received abuse on the scale that Diane did. He did not mention the way that Luciana Berger MP was being unacceptably and repeatedly abused by some left wingers because she is Jewish which, is every bit as hurtful to Luciana as the anti- black abuse is to Diane. I am sure that Diane Abbott MP, Rishi Sunak MP Shaun Bailey AM and Luciana Berger all agree with me.

Now Emma Dent Coad, that self- proclaimed "proud anti-racist campaigner," was just as bad to Shaun Bailey AM as the facists scum are to Diane Abbott MP. Emma insulted Shaun for the very same reason that right wing facist scumbags insult Diane.

The circle that Corbyn, and fellow marxists, cannot square is why was Emma allowed to sit in parliament in a party that believes in racial equality when her values are at odds with racial equality - because she is so left wing and on the side of Corbyn. How unprincipled! Are Corbyn and the SCG saying that it is OK to abuse a Black person for being Black just because they are right wing?

    10. It's all about her "values." Diane Abbott, Emma's mate, has made racist remarks repeatedly about White People. Why is she not barred? Why is she fire-proof?

    11. Why are the racists Corbyn, Abbott and Dent Coad still in the Labour Party?

"Taxi for Coad" has a point. She is now considered unsuitable to hold the office of Member of Parliament (Labour) because of her racism. If she is unacceptable for parliamentary office, it follows that she cannot be a Labour Councillor any longer.

    3. Why hasn't the Labour Party given her, her marching orders?

There plenty of socialists who are not racist or antisemitic. She embarrasses Sir Keir and is not up to much. Nothing Stalinist about expelling someone with her values; even if Corbyn likes her.

    4. Is the Kenisngton Labour Party scared of her? Is that why she has not been booted out?

    6. Hornets have asked Emma Dent Coad to condemn Corbyn, the apologist for Putin, for suggesting that the existence of NATO is responsible for Putin's invasion of Ukraine. A right thinking person with any decency would have spoken out. Abbott et al all withdrew their support for Corbyn's position when they were threatened with expulsion from Labour.

    7. By "retribution" do you mean more pictures of unpleasant things being done to people who do not toe the line?

    8. I do mean that.

Would you please tell us how many views this page has had since it went live?

    2. I can confirm this page has had 151 views since it went live.

    3. Thank you, Dame. 126 comments plus 151 views.

      She's done like a dinner.

    4. To be precise, the figure of 151 includes those who have commented, some of whom have done so multiple times. Therefore the ‘official’ number of people who have viewed the page is likely to be far fewer than 151, The Dame estimates the correct figure to be roughly 30 - 35.

  29. The Steeple Times described Emma as a "pro- Brexiteer charlatan." She has always been a very mixed up lady. Marxist with Corbyn, anti-racist with Abbott, "cuddly" with Grenfell people but, according to the Steeple Times, even Grenfell "turned on her" for not doing what they wanted her to do.

EDC would have us all believe that, in 1975, she voted to stay in the Common Market in the Referendum.

    BUT THINGS WERE DIFFERENT THEN.
Margaret Thatcher voted to stay in the Common Market in 1975 and within ten years turned in to a eurosceptic.

Tony Benn and Dennis Skinner wanted out in 1975. The hard left in Labour and the marxist left wanted out because the Common Market was all about propping up a capitalist system. The Workers needed ownership and control of the means of production not sops from a bourgeois economic club. Comrade Corbyn only softened his position when the vote came round in 2016. Emma is hard left, was she out of sync with others?
