TALKING THE TALK:NOT WALKING THE WALK....

Cllr Mosley |
These three represent the interests of residents and have a duty to arrest the decline of an area once a byword for simple elegance.
Knightsbridge-under their watch-has become a byword for vulgarity and money obsessed squalor.
|
Cllr Barkhordar |
The Dame has already pointed out that not one of the three bothered to turn out for the police spot checks on Gulf plated super cars:this despite Cllr Barkhordar proclaiming it was his 'No 1 Priority.'
|
Cllr Marshall |
Cllr Marshall is a past master at writing streams of emails, but does little more than that.
Come on you three....let's have less chatter and more action! Follow the example of the late Cllr Ritchie who got things moving without sending out copious emails.
Such a shame the Dame is not a local cllr. Sparks would fly!!
ReplyDeletewell the Chicken had three opportunities to stand in his home ward and did not
ReplyDelete14.31, what a Silly Billy you are! The Dame has far more impact as an independent force for good than the alternative of being banged up as one of Pooter's poodles and forced to toe the line. The Dame is operating under the great British tradition of press Freedom - something you probably do not understand.
ReplyDeleteYou might as well suggest that every news journalist on every British newspaper stands for Parliament! You prat
It would be fitting if at least one of the Councillors photographed, each one of whom stood for election making all kinds of promises to represent their residents, made a commitment on this blog to "Save Brompton Road from the Infidels"
ReplyDeleteThe Dame is on the button. Cllr Bark made promises about stopping the rot in Brompton Road. His time has come - lets see an action plan from the new Councillor. I am sure that James Wright, Chairman of the Belgravia Residents Association, would be happy to do some mentoring if required

I did not write this piece, though agree with the sentiment.
I assume you refer to me as 'chicken' for not wishing to stand in Brompton Ward?
Some 40 years ago I successfully overturned a Labour majority to become, at the age of 21, a member of Somerset County Council...hardly the stuff of cowardice....
I won't bore on about a career in business, but again, I hope that my record was not one of cowardice!
Not wishing to join the Council( and I remember Quentin Marshall agreeing I would beat him if I did!) has little to do with not wishing to be in the same room as Cockell,or his friends, such as the unlamented Lamont and Phelps:but much to do with finding the best way to cleanse a corrupt council. I have chosen to back a site that goes a long way in achieving that ambition.
Why don't show your courage by coming clean and telling us which ward has the misfortune to be represented by you:could it be poor old St Charles?

Well said Dame. A good put down of the reptile 14.31. It does indeed sound like lowlife Palmer.....
ReplyDeleteSo Justin Downes supports the Hornet? I remember him from my days in the City. He is the last guy I would describe as chicken.Stupid comment 14:31. Attack him for attacking the council but not for being a chicken because that just makes you seem silly
ReplyDelete14:31
ReplyDeleteI am sure I am not alone in waiting for you to come out into the open and engage with me...Or could you be lacking in courage?
Mr Downes built a successful City business, employed hundreds of people, and sold it at a great profit. Cllr Palmer (96 years old) is still looking for employment
ReplyDeletePalmer is still hoping to win the favour of Beloved Leader. Sadly Palmer is not on his radar. BL is looking for someone who can help him find a job or get to the HoL. Palmer can't even find himself a job.

ReplyDeleteLooking at these three councillors it seems to me that they are far too inexperienced to sort out the problems in the vicinity of Harrods. Sadly, Sir Merrick does not favour experienced council candidates for fear that they will questions some of the incompetent decisions that he and his inner circle make. I think the suggestions made by James Wright of the Belgravia Residents Association are sound and seeking support from the local Residents Associations crucial.
