Brompton and Hans Town Ward has three councillors: two are an insulting waste of space.
Cllr Weale is never seen in the Ward.
She leaves all the heavy lifting to the highly intelligent and resident-friendly, Sof McVeigh.
If residents have a problem they immediately call up Sof.
Sof has had an excellent year as deputy mayor and needs to be given more responsibility (on that point, anyone who has ever had 'business dealings' with Cllr Faulks would soon realise she just doesn't have a clue about business)
What a great ambassador for the local business community Sof would make. She and her husband have had highly successful business careers.... unlike Faulks.
The less said about Cllr Idris the better: she is just hopeless and indolent but one supposes her £17k allowance helps pay the household expenses. Come on Cllr Idris, you may not be a brainbox but you can make more effort to do Ward work.
So, it really does beg the question as to whether there are just too many councillors doing non-jobs?
Phew...the Dame is dripping acid. Hope she is not lining up our MP next
ReplyDeleteBoth useless.Walaa the Wally as she is known round here, once used to be resident of Powis Square -and goes around now labelling it a ghetto!!
ReplyDeleteIt's not what you know in Walaa, the Wally's case it's which Housing Manager you know which is why questions are asked about how she got transferred to Wiltshire Close ahead of so many others on the housing list with far greater housing need.
ReplyDeleteTell us more please. Are you saying that Wally jumped the housing list? There must be a public enquiry into this.
ReplyDeleteIt seems very likely
DeleteCllr Weale (we agreed to listen but not to hear) has never been bothered to get involved with residents. The less she sees or hears of them the better. Her interest is along-siding Cabinet Members and the Leader. She put huge flattery into buttering up Cllr Cockell who gave her a Cabinet post. And then she followed up with Cllr Paget-Brown who also liked a bit of flattery. And now she has struck a bulls eye with Cllr Campbell who also gave her a Cabinet position and has hinted that she can take over as Leader before many more months have passed. These two women need to understand clearly that they have the Hornet on their tails. And the Dame does not take prisoners.
ReplyDeleteLeader of the Council? Weale??
