It seems the Dame was ahead of herself. Today's papers report widespread fury at police violence on the Common. Calls for the resignation of Dick are coming from all quarters...Left, Right and Centre politicians. Even her Common Purpose friends cannot save this hopeless woman now.
One puzzles as to why the Metropolitan Police were so determined to close down the vigil on Clapham Common and to do so in such a violent manner?

Could it have anything to do with a deep sense of well-deserved embarrassment one of their own was allowed to continue to wander the streets of London armed to the teeth whilst suffering from stress-related illness?
What would have been a well-organised event was halted on the direct orders of Dick; the woman is an utter disgrace without an ounce of sound judgment.
