Were he to be in a Fetter Lane coffee house with the Dame this morning he would have exampled this trio of duds, Robert Jenrick, Grant Shapps, and Gavin Williamson to back up his dictum.
The three are so dire and spivvy they need the embellishments of the Establishment to make them seem what they are clearly not.
These hypocrites who have so damaged the good standing of this country all like to be seen with a Union Jack or two.
The 'Child Williamson' even has one of Churchill despite the fact the great man would turn in his grave ever thinking Williamson could be running the country.
The Dame never watches the BBC but she stands foursquare with Mr Stayt and his colleague for 'calling out'.
(The Dame has never 'called out' before so it's an exciting and modern First for her)
The point the two journalists made was a sound one.

Boris Johnson is very keen on the Union flag. He has draped himself in it at every turn to curry favour with Little Englanders and Tories of Norman Tebbitt's ilk.

ReplyDeleteRobert Jenrick's wife is not a politician. She is entitled to her political beliefs in the same way that Anonymous at 12.00 is. There is a tendency to define all Israeli people as "Zionist." Jeremy Corbyn, the World's great antiracist, used the term "Zionist" to refer to English Jews who disagreed with him. Your use of the term "zionist" is as bad as labelling young Black unemployed men "hoodlums."
