Dear Dame
The mire is getting thicker by the second....
ES has a front-page story about fraud probe into Grenfell fire.
I just wonder how many of our dear Councillors, plus Robert Black were aware of this scam?
You may recall that Hammersmith & City tube was suspended because of alleged structural problems with the Tower?
Bullshit......
The line was suspended because the flat roof of the Academy next door was used to collect body bags.
As the mountain grew, some were concerned......
The bags were taken away through the back entrance to the Academy, away from media/public view....
It is very interesting that somehow, in this day and age nobody can count from 1 to 100 plus.
Just count the NUMBER of bags, idiots.
Identification will come later....
Identification will come later....
My source tells me that St Mary's alone had about 100 charred corpses...
But the matter gets murkier still...
Much has been written that if the LFB had the high towers to access the top floors, the outcome could have been different...
NO, that's a lie!
The road access to the Tower is so limited these vehicles would not have made it...
The Fire Brigade engines were in Cornwall Crescent and even Ladbroke Grove to fill up with water, as there was no water anywhere near the Tower.
The whole fire/safety layout of the area is CRAP....
You have the Tower and an Academy, without proper fire access.
I understand that the teachers were told that if they want to work at the Academy, they will not be able to access it by car... only by foot or bike.
The surrounding street are very narrow.
There is NO proper parking....
There has always been a question of access and exit in case of an emergency.
The location of the Academy has always been a contentious issue - never properly addressed.
Ever yours, dear Dame
Corruption happens in the Tory and Labour run councils. It's about time we realise this because the agenda is still the same and change of party gives you an illusion that things might get better in the future but we find it's same old, same old. Wake up!
ReplyDeleteYes but Grenfell Tower was the fault of a long standing Conservative Administration . Rotten Borough . Lock them up and throw away the key. I can assure you if the powers' that be don't deliver justice, then funds have been raised for Private Prosecutions. Justice 4 Grenfell. You will not get away with this - we are here - we are many - we will see justice served like a bowl of cold porridge .
DeleteAgreed and in Lib Dem when they rarely get a taste of power. They are all the same.
ReplyDeleteI would imagine someone got photos of the roof of the academy ? if so surely they could show them to the press
ReplyDeleteThe Grenfell story becomes darker every day. There's a level of corruption surely beyond the petty rackets of local authorities in general. The story that fire engines couldn't get anywhere near the Tower is true. So is the statement that the engines were parked in Ladbroke Grove. There is no doubt that there were or still are 100 body bags on the academy roof. Shame on RBKC. Cllr Campbell's brief apology is not remotely enough. They must all resign.
ReplyDeleteSomeone has photos of the overflow tents at Westminster.
ReplyDeleteSurvivors are also being told that their loved-ones' bodies have not and will not be able to be recovered. This despite the bodies they do have not yet having been identified.
ReplyDeleteWhy couldn't they turn off the main gas for 36 hours? Gas just kept fuelling and burning the tower. How many more 'failures' must we add to the list and still say it was a series of errors? Are we supposed to believe so many errors made by different companies, department as simple negligence? All I can say is that there are some wicked people out there if a 'team' of people had a vision to make the tower into a giant incinerator. There is a similarity with 911 WTC. They wanted to demolish the asbestos ladened building and had a massive insurance too. The only difference is that Grenfell Tower didn't free fall with that much of inferno which debunked 911 ever more.
ReplyDeleteThe removed the fire breaks and installed Gas Pipes Instead. Turned the place into a cooker.
DeleteThe Moroccan Embassy know 42 Families are missing that were in the tower . If they know that then RBKC know the death count will be closer to 200 . Locals know in their hearts the true figure. They know that these figures aren't being released , they are being treated worse than dogs. Ye shall reap the whirlwind.
ReplyDeleteAnyone still missing so much time after the fire must be presumed dead. They need to start releasing those figures.
DeleteYes, 80 people are known to have died. But how many are still missing and must be presumed dead?
Oh, I think the claim is that 80+ have been IDENTIFIED... How many body bags were counted is a state secret....
DeleteHolding on to that "80+" figure is likely to prove very counter-productive very soon.
DeleteThe real figure for the dead and missing presumed dead is higher. Anyone paying attention has already worked that out. If it's true that the Moroccan embassy is aware of 42 families unaccounted for that's 100+ people right there.
It's all just going to smell like a cover up.
And that is precisely why many people are losing trust in anything the Council or government do - if they can't be honest about the number of people that have most probably perished then it's unlikely they can be very honest about anything else.
Commissioners need to be brought in. The whole Conservative group are nothing short of incompetent .Throughout the crisis not one of them stood up and took control. They do not have the ability. Giving council cabinet jobs to your school mates is folly. I can't believe NPB and RFM haven't stood down from the Council .Have they no shame .No conscience. I hope every morning when they look in the mirror, they take a long hard look at the death and destruction their administration has brought. No amount of bullying or arrogance can get this lot out of this one . We shall not forget what you did . Shame, Shame, Shame.
ReplyDeleteOdious people. First trying to blame no sprinklers on the residents. Then saying there was a 'riot' at the Town Hall. The crowd walked into the Town Hall. It was the response from the Cabinet that made people angry. Which was effectively silence. Good excuse to shut the town hall down over the weekend so they could allegedly shred any evidence or delete any emails. Trying to save their skins whilst others perished. Lions led by Donkeys.
ReplyDeleteThere are four other tower blocks in close vicinity with a clear line of sight to the Academy roof ...
ReplyDeleteThey are not calling them Commissioners, but the Government has just announced it's sending in its own people to run "certain departments." The Government thus acknowledges that RBKC cannot organise necessary relief needed due to a deadly fire organised by RBKC! The Council is sitting on £2,000 per RBKC man, woman and child in "available reserves" (i.e. immediately available funds in the bank or shares etc). RBKC is capable only of choosing an inadequate new Leader, who has already proved herself unable even of retaining a formerly well-organised system for bussing disabled children to and from their schools. All she's done so far in Leadership is to stand in the street muttering a timid little apology to the TV news. Shame on RBKC. Shame on Campbell.
ReplyDeleteGovernment sends in 'taskforce' to take over the housing. I hope they will finish off KCTMO for good. Don't ever want to deal with them ever again. Everytime I read TMO Link Magagines (full of lies) or financial report, it makes me want to vomit. No other ornisation had caused such vile reaction in my life. THE CANCER MUST GO!
DeleteTMO residents now is the time.
DeleteOnce the taskforce takes over, contact them and express your existing fire safety concerns and years of disrepair. Tell them how incompetent they have been even prior to Grenfell. Also if anybody has info on their financial dealings, tell them! KCTMO must GO.
Yes, dear human beings - the swamp is a fetid, bottomless abyss. All of the Councillors and staff were well aware of what was going on... Some were involved, some just knew... They are all guilty... of what is now called 'social/ethnic' cleansing of North Kensington.
ReplyDeleteThe swamp must be drained and replaced with new stock.... properly vetted and elected...
a new and a serious aspect of the disaster has emerged: The safety and fire approval of he Academy's location. It is a known fact that this has been a very contentious argument and those with personal vested financial interests, pushed it through as hard they could.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is apparently with the Western aspect of the Academy, which is very, very close to the Grenfell Tower.
Was an application in 2014 to 'demolish' the Tower, just made to satisfy the safety and fire requirement at the planning stage... when this was pushed through, demolished was swiftly forgotten.... It should be interesting to get all the relevant design and planning documents and see the 'time line' - when did the 'demolition; raise its head?
I believe they didn't even submit a planning permission application for the demolition. Papers were only submitted to the building control. I believe if you were to do it properly, you'd have to submit papers to both planning permission AND building control.
DeleteIf RBKC's planning documents have survived. It's not unknown for officers to make them disappear from the website or paper files. This, despite the fact that the destruction of the public record is a serious criminal offence.
ReplyDeleteIt has long been said that rather than using mortar to build RBKC's red brick town hall; it was corruption.
Yes, agree.. A Task Force is on its way - assist in housing etc. Group without any legal clout. Me thinks that had the Council been Labour, rather than famous and staunchly Tory, the government's response would have been completely different...
ReplyDeleteThis is nothing but Tories covering up for their kin.... as they say, 'birds of feather flock together'... And they all swim together like drunken toads in the stinking swamp, mentioned above....
I know the hornets readers like asbestos news... so here it goes. Whether you trust the statement or not is up to you.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.inspectas.co.uk/public-health-advice-following-grenfell-tower-fire/?utm_content=bufferd92f6&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
Not surprising. Any tower block of that vintage is likely to have building materials and components containing asbestos. And the TMO policy on asbestos has always been "leave it alone and it'll be okay" so ...
DeleteThe thing is whilst asbestos if disturbed can be deadly , I know my father died from mesothelioma, if left alone it wont hurt you. the irony is that old metal windows and asbestos will have been removed from Grenfell , replaced by plastic coated windows etc had the metal windows and asbestos all still been in place the fire would probably not have travelled as it did internally . Fire officers have stated this about blocks in general during a BBC documentary some time ago about blocks being modernised and the original fire protection disappearing.
Delete@14:31 You are quite right about asbestos being harmless if left alone but in inferno it turned into asbesto dusts which were released into the surrounding environment. As for the windows, even if they still had metal window flames, the heat from the climbing inferno would have broke the glass and fire would have got inside. Do not believe BBC documentaries. They are the ones reported that WTC7 collapsed while it stood behind the reporter. In Panorama, 'victims' have said the fire was extinguished i.e. contained in No.16 flat and firemen were leaving. Well, which statements that are floating about correct?
DeleteA tory sanctioned task force. pffffffft. Tim Burke writes:
ReplyDelete"Southwark cleared out 1100 social housing homes in Heygate Est.
Landlease, the new owner, built 2700 new flats, only 87 'affordable...
Southwark Council’s project manager for the Elephant & Castle regeneration left to work for Lend Lease.
Previously, the council’s communications manager for the project also quit to go and work for Lend Lease.
Southwark Council has also spawned some of the local lobbying industry’s leading lights.
Even the former leader of Southwark, Jeremy Fraser, joined one of the biggest lobbyists in the business, Four Communications."
Dig, Badgers, Hornets, dig deep please and discover more about the saviours heading towards RBKC.
Lendlease and co. are precisely the kind of people we really don't need at a time like this.
DeletePerhaps our Dame should submit an FOI Request to the Housing Minister as to the composition of the 'Task Force', their remit and statutory powers, if any....
DeleteOr, maybe the Grenfell Action Group should do this too? They have Pro Bono lawyers giving advice, so this is one subject to get into... More people ask, more uncomfortable it will become and less lies will be told.... maybe....

If this doesn't look like a social cleansing....I don't know.
