In the past Conservative councillors have been forbidden to read the Hornet's Nest.
Had they been encouraged to do so, they might have been more aware of just how residents feel.
It's not just about the tragedy of Grenfell Tower; it's about the myriad other issues that have so antagonised council tax payers.
The Dame does not boast of these numbers out of any sense of amour propre but merely to point out the power of social media in the absence of local newspapers.
Hats off to the Dame - she does a GREAT job!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU VERY MUCH FROM ONE LITTLE PART OF RBKC
The Hornet's Nest and the Dame are RBKC's "government in exile." A place for open debate, but more importantly for the truth to be told. RBKC is rotten to the core. Long Live the Dame!
ReplyDeleteThe dame is a hero . Thank God a voice of reason in the darkness that was RBKC.
ReplyDeleteindeed, congratulations and let's hope she will go on for ever more, making us all aware. In is very true that the Council got its knickers in twist with the advent of the interweb.... Until that time newspapers, TV and hacks were cajoled, paid off, bribed, or just plainly threatened with all sorts of heinous actions. This is impossible (well very difficult to do) with the interweb...
