THE DAME CRUISING

As an envious Sad Badger correctly observes the Dame is 'aboard' the SS Hornet for a little break so news will be intermittent.
She understands the Leader's hubby, Colin, is a bit of an 'old salt' so is hoping he might come and do a bit of crewing...uniforms provided.

Your luxurious SS Hornet moored in the Monte Carlo Bay, just a short launch trip to the Hotel de Paris.   Enjoying the wondrous, luxurious surroundings of this nice hostelry and its wonderful dining and extensive wine cellar.
I am truly jealous.  We have to rely on Mr O'Sullivan from the Belvedere.

    Dame of course you merit a good rest after all you have done for us 'Residents'. But I know that the SS Hornet has a state of the art communications system so we hope you continue to watch over us.

      Indeed. I am given to understand that dear Ludo is actually GCHQ trained comms officer and is as such on the SS Hornet. I am also told because of his IT expertise, he can log into the Hornet's server and avail himself of all the dark innermost secrets, therein. well done, Dame for having such a bright spark.

    Please do enjoy every moment of your very well earned vacation.

    Drink pink champagne in palm-shaded groves. Do a little highly exclusive shopping. Wear your priceless jewels and many gowns. High stakes gambling and a little elegant dalliance in perfumed gardens will fill your evenings to perfection.
