Henderson, Denman, Barshall...oh, and Monty |
Everything so wrong with this country is manifested in the salary paid to Exford: twice that of the PM!
Fortunately, Exford is up against Andrew Barshall and Ian Henderson.
Their brilliant defence of the Dwellings is a strategy masterpiece.
Please read this excellent report LINK
Messrs Henderson and Barshall stood as Independent candidates last time around. Let's hope we see them standing again.
Outrageous. Are RBKC councillors unable to force Affinity Sutton to put their estate in good order?
ReplyDeleteOr are the councillors colluding with the developers?
Colluding.
DeleteAnd we all know what happens when a Conservative Council colludes with developers , Grenfell, in my opinion .
DeleteWhere are the Ward Councillors. They surely knew of this disgrace. Warwick,Pascal, Taylor-Smith.
ReplyDeleteDo not expect anything of these three
DeleteOr any of The Conservative Group.
DeleteAnother example of how not to run social housing
ReplyDeleteThis beggars belief.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that the application to demolish and replace with yet more'luxury flats' was refused - so some sense at least. Affinity Sutton are however appealling (read the piece!) . They must be stopped and the empty flats reinstated and filled with people who really need them. Come on Dame do your bit!
ReplyDeleteDo they ever stop.
ReplyDeleteThere should be fined for letting these fine properties fall into this condition . Where is Saddiq Khan ?
ReplyDeleteNow that Elisabeth Campbell is in charge, I'm sure she'll get on top of this as efficiently as she dealt with her previous responsibilities.
ReplyDeleteElisabeth Campbell couldn't open a tin of soup !
DeleteCould we please have some more pictures of Monty.
ReplyDeleteI hope your not some kind of canine pervert trawling the web.
DeleteSensible suggestion, and why not open Maxilla Nursery too?
ReplyDeleteOfficial vandalism of forcibly emptied social housing is the norm. On Wornington Green scores of very solid, good homes were stripped of baths and sinks and wrecked by contractors to prevent people living in them. So homeless people lived in the gardens instead while mice and rats took vacant possession. Those homes stood empty for 2 or more years. When they were demolished the estate was flooded with evicted rats and mice. Those well built and spacious homes have been replaced with shoddy little - and I do mean little - units that are falling apart months after being built.
ReplyDeleteWho is the legal owner of this Estate? If RBKC, it has statutory powers to get things moving, due to extra-ordinary circumstances. However, a good INDEPENDENT oversight is necessary, in order that the mess does not get any bigger.
ReplyDeleteIt is owned by Clarion, a merger of Affinity Sutton and Circle Housing. Under CEO Keith Exford they see themselves as house builders and no longer as a housing association.
DeleteLining their own pockets !
DeleteYou know RBKC can buy it back. They have millions in reserve.
Delete1. Corporate manslaughter
ReplyDelete2. Corporate vandalism
3. Corporate social cleansing
Who is leading all of this and who is profiteering out of it?
Warwick, Fielding Mellon, Lightfoot.
DeleteAnything to do with Circle Anglia under Robert Black?

ReplyDeleteCircle Housing has Just merged with Affinity Sutton to Create 'Clarion '. It is quite clear both from the attached article and the behaviour of Affinty Sutton, that neither are fit to run social housing . All Social housing stock that these companies received under 'stock transfer ' need to be handed back or taken over by residents or directly from the local authority . The bodies that received these properties have changed their business model's and as such are no longer ' social housing providers ' or housing associations ' but property developers , who are now exploiting the tenants and assets they received for 'NOTHING '. Why would this lot be allowed to have any sort of redevelopment in RBKC after the awfulness of Grenfell . Its time for Political Parties to get this on the agenda and expose these charlatans for what they really are 'asset strippers '. And finally what exactly did Keith Exford get his Knighthood for ' the trashing of Social Housing '
WHO IS GOING TO WRITE TO GREG HANDS MP? THIS MUST BE EXPOSED
ReplyDeleteThe 'knighthood ' needs to go .
DeleteHands is too busy in Kazakhstan wooing despots who kill their workers in cold blood and are very friendly with Tony Blair. He has remained schtum about Sutton estates from the beginning we know where his feelings lie. Not good when he is London minister and this is happening in Chelsea borough.
DeleteHe should know about this , thats' his job .
ReplyDelete' Hands Off ' - like most of the Conservative's .
