This is Andrew Western who held Stretford and Urmston for Labour.
He looks like a prime candidate for all sorts of expensive diseases costing the NHS billions to cure. It is a bad look.
Politicians of all parties have a duty to set an example.
Obesity is a serious issue in our country.
A politician looking like a balloon sets an appalling example.
Politicians cannot lecture the populace about getting fit when they look like sacks of King Edward potatoes on the move.
Aside from the fact that this man isn’t a very pleasant individual it looks as though he has had some sort of health issue/possibly other reasons as opposed to the usual ‘greed’ - he was in good shape until a few years ago and suddenly put the weight on but seems to be losing it slowly. Never judge someone unless you know the full facts.
ReplyDeleteWhy is he unpleasant? Or are you judging him without the full facts and just think him unpleasant?
DeleteDear Dame , could we not try a little charity at Christmas ? 'Good Will to All Mankind ' etc. ( including those whose appearance we may not care for)
ReplyDeleteWhat a horrible thing to write about someone. This blog has turned into a nasty place the last few months. Utter filth
ReplyDeleteThis blog hits where it hurts. If you don’t like it don’t read. I suppose you are shedding tears over the well deserved smacking Emma’s bunch got?
DeleteHe's fat...get over it
DeleteI thought our good lady, The Dame, and her Hornets dealt with Dent Coad's lot judiciously.
DeleteThe Dame is right. One politician after another lectures us about keeping fit and yet all we ever are stories about boozing and behaving badly. This man needs to shed a load of weight: it’s that simple
ReplyDeleteJennifer Arcuri memorably described sex with Boris Johnson as, 'being screwed by a binbag full of custard'
ReplyDeletehahahaha
DeleteThis MP is just 37 years old....The Hornet's virtue is that it drills deep into issues. The excuse of 'health issues' being the cause of weight issues is constantly wheeled out so we don't offend those who choose over indulge and overload the health service. If this man has health issues causing him to balloon in weight then politics is the last profession he should be in.
ReplyDeleteThe Dame did is a controversialist: that is the beauty of this blog. You may not kike what the old hag writes but she often hits the nail on the head. This MP looks like a latterday Cyril Smith
ReplyDeleteFor once I am in full agreement with the vile Dame. I used to weigh 19 stone due to the very many lunches and dinners I was forced by lobbyists to partake of.
ReplyDeleteFine vintage wine, fresh grouse in truffle sauce and gorgeous 'sweets' were my downfalI. I sacrificed my body at the altar of dedicated public service. When I left the Council the opportunity to gorge ceased and I slimmed down to the svelte 11 stone I now weigh in at. Yes, Andrew Marshall MP....lay off those Northern pies and you can look as lovely as me
