Greg Hands
"So, I am asking you to use your vote for me on 4 July, and vote for the candidate who will always be on your side."
Greg Hands's plea to voters.
He cites local issues he has been involved with to back his claim on your vote.
All very well but he carefully sides steps national issues. These seriously impact our lives.
Here are a few.
- Unregulated immigration stressing our domestic infrastructure
- A socialist confiscatory tax policy in unreformed Inheritance Tax
- A Business Rates regime strangling businesses of all sizes
- Crime-ridden streets
- Stamp duty set at such a level that no one can afford to downsize
- Billions wantonly wasted during COVID
The country is seriously messed up and a vote for Labour is a Revenge Vote only.
He protected the TMO at all costs before it was abolished.
ReplyDeleteSo, he was no better than EDC when it came to the TMO.
DeleteThe bumbling Somali fool KASIM ALI has decided to throw his hat in the ring to become the next Labour MP for Queen’s Park and Maida Vale. Abandoning his Dalgarno constituents at the slightest whiff of Parliament money.
ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to his ‘spicy Kensington hot sauce’?
‘Spicy Queen’s Park and Maida Vale hot sauce’ just doesn’t have the same ring to it.
He has Five pillars of principle...'What's in it for Ali'
DeleteAli hardly ever sets foot in Dalgarno unless there's a Labour party campaign going and the cameras are about
DeleteCllr. Ali needed to move more quickly than he has to secure the Queens Park Labour nomination . It went last week to Georgia Gould ( Labour Aristocracy & successful leader of Camden Council)
DeleteTitanic Tory Northern Ireland minister, Steve Baker, currently on holiday in Greece during the election battle.
ReplyDeleteA second Titanic Tory, Mel Stride, Work and Pensions Secretary said today he could be busy 'designing campaign literature'.
The Northern Ireland minister complained that the PM had 'told everyone we could go on holiday' before making the announcement, saying he was on a 'much-needed break'.
Steve Baker isn’t the only one. Tory MP and potential leadership candidate Robert Jenrick is in Ottawa, Canada.
DeleteIf dodgy Jenrick is what Tories consider a leadership hopeful these days they've really got problems.
DeleteStaff at Conservative Campaign Headquarters (CCHQ) accused MPs of going on holiday, refusing to knock on doors and focusing on ministerial responsibilities rather than the election effort. Taken from a memo published in The Times..
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, nobody wants to campaign for Sunak, not even the hundred or so Tory MPs who put him into Downing Street. I know Tory members who are suddenly finding themselves too busy to put a few leaflets through letterboxes.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing the number of good ideas that the Tories can come up with now, having spent 14 years implementing none of them.
ReplyDeleteMore BS from Greg Hands! Tory MP’s claim ‘millions’ secured for ‘floor-by-floor’ refurbishment of hospital https://www.mylondon.news/news/west-london-news/charing-cross-greg-hands-refurbishment-29258683
ReplyDeleteGreg Hands, As you know, St Mary’s was one of the Conservative’s 40 new hospitals. The rebuild promised is nowhere to be seen but you claim victory in bringing money to Imperial College NHS Trust. You are a total f***** t*****!
DeleteIt’s a matter of public record that the government has dropped its pledge to refurbish Charing Cross Hospital by 2030. To suggest otherwise is pure fabrication by Mr Hands.
DeleteHang your head in shame, Greg Hands.
Labour has committed to rebuild six London hospitals (including St Mary’s and Charing Cross) should it win the election. Evening Standard https://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/general-election-hillingdon-hospital-st-mary-s-hospital-whipps-cross-university-hospital-charing-cross-hospital-nhs-london-b1161870.html
DeleteHis party has allowed over 12,000 hours of sewage dumped into London waterways last year https://harrowonline.org/2024/06/01/over-12000-hours-of-sewage-dumped-into-london-waterways-last-year-new-analysis-shows/
ReplyDeleteHands record of achievement is incredibly thin. He saved the Brunswick Club (whatever that may be), he saved the no 14 bus, the slowest route in London. But he failed on Hammersmith Bridge, the no 11 bus (world heritage staus- what a joke) , night flights, tideway tunnel, etc
ReplyDeleteLots of noise and selfies, lots of petitions, feeble result.
He supported an enobled resident in The Piper Building in Peterborough Road, Fulham, over a "stink hole" for the sewage tunnel.
DeleteNice to know that Hands looks after those with power who sit in the House of Lords and own a high value property in Fulham.
DeleteWhat did he do to help people who complained to him about the TMO? FA is what he did.
A Chelsea woman saved Cremorne Gardens from Thames' Water's plans for it single handedly with no help from the good Gregory.
Shaft him!
Hands gave me short shrift when I discussed TMO corruption with him. He would have broke a neck to take action if I had complained to him about corruption at Labour run Hammersmith and Fulham Council.
DeleteHands should have encouraged me to report my concerns to the Police. Instead, he suggested that I should discuss matters with a Tory Councillor. Hands does the "good Tory bloke routine" very well and protects the Tory Party at all costs.
I think Colman will be fair and moral.
Let us see off Hands once and for all.
Hands is no better than Boris Johnson. Boris Johnson did "the good Tory bloke routine" and tried very hard to protect Owen Paterson from an ignominious "shafting" on the grounds that he had suffered enough because Owen Paterson's wife took her own life. Johnson was wrong in doing that and Hands has been wrong in defending the indefensible to protect Tory interests.
DeleteI am sure he will be"shafted" on election day.
DeleteWilliam Hill odds (3 June): Chelsea & Fulham
ReplyDelete* Labour 2/7
* Conservative 5/2
Does any one know what the William Hill odds are in Kensington for:-
DeleteBuchan,
Powell,
and Dent Coad?
