A MOANING RESIDENT!

up yours!

we've never had it so good!

Dear Dame,
A question?

Why should I vote for either Buchan or Hands rather than sitting on my backside at home?

Let’s run through why sitting at home reading a good book is more interesting and productive than wasting an hour to travel to vote Conservative.

OK, I may not vote for Powell but at least I know what I will get from a Labour Government.

14 years of Conservative governments and we are now like a third world country….foreign , violent gangs infest our city streets and no one is safe. We cannot even stop a Channel invasion.

The only beneficiaries are the likes of Cameron and pals like Osborne,Hancock and Johnson who are now multimillionaires.

Even Hands was taking a vast monthly fee from some French bank.

I am not crazy about Reform UK but I will vote for them to shaft the corrupt, greedy and self serving Conservative Party.

  • Their party has never tried to abolish Inheritance Tax or at least set levels that reflect soaring house price inflation
  • Allowed Stamp Duty to rise to unprecedented levels. Young people cannot get on the housing ladder: older and more affluent people cannot afford to downsize.
  • Done nothing to reform Business Rates which are now at such a level that most businesses just cannot absorb them
  • Wasted tens of billions on a rail link that was never needed in the first place
  • Wasted billions during COVID
  • Used COVID to manipulate the population into servility.

Others can add more…what a record of wasted opportunity.

  1. Reform UK is basically what the Conservative party used to be. I too will be voting for them at the next election (first time I will not have voted Conservative in my life).

    1. Rishi Sunak should have already suspended the whip from Jacob Rees-Mogg for suggesting that Nigel Farage be taken into the Conservative Party and made a Minister. The UK Prime Minister has no backbone.

    2. 29 April, Rishi Sunak says we shall not take returns from Ireland. Guess where 50 came from to the U.K. on Monday?

    3. At PMQs today, Rishi Sunak was asked about the prison service is in chaos: Will letting out prisoners 70 days earlier “make the country more secure? He was also asked about the candidates for early release: “How many? Where are they? What crimes have they committed?” And, that none of them would be classified as “high-risk”. The PM implied we are all safe even though a report on Lewes prison. Page 5. At-risk prisoners released. Page 46. A high-risk prisoner had his release date brought forward

    4. We need the US standard. Long sentences meaning just that and build more prisons if we have to. Prison should be a 'shock and awe' experience for violent prisoners

    5. Rees Mogg is such a nincompoop. Why would Reform want anything to do with a dying party?

  2. Luke, you're quite right to moan. But please think carefully before sitting at home or voting Reform. The only credible way to get Hands out in Chelsea is by voting Labour. Splitting the anti-Hands vote will just let him squeak back in. Tactical voting is the name of the game.

  3. That is a damning condemnation of a party that has contemptuously insulted its core vote. Historians raking over the death throes of this party will not blame Sunak: they will blame Cameron.

    1. David Cameron on X: "Extremist settlers, by targeting and killing Palestinian civilians, are undermining security and stability for both Israelis and Palestinians.

Israel must take stronger action to stop settler violence and hold the perpetrators accountable.

We are banning those responsible for settler violence from entering the UK to make sure our country cannot be a home for people who commit these intimidating acts."

    2. Disgusting to see Israeli settlers attack an aid convoy heading to Gaza. There are videos of them throwing vitally needed food packages into the road and setting fire to the vehicles.

  4. I doubt Hands and Buchan will come on here rejecting this analysis: they know it's true

    1. We need to shaft Hands. Will people living in Chelsea please dish the dirt on him just like Kensingtonians are dishing the dirt on Dent Coad?

  5. Come on Hands? What do you say?

  6. He is too busy prattling on about Chelsea Buns ! What a creep! Labour's Ben Coleman is a serious candidate who will do Chelsea credit

  7. There can only be one winner in Chelsea and Fulham (or for that matter one winner in any parliamentary seat) and everyone else who stands will be shafted.

It is high time that Hands is shafted.
