Lord 'Blockhead' Bach: A Dimwit Police Crime Commissioners with his sweet little uniforms he had run up!
Dearest Dame,
To date, Police and Crime Commissioners have cost our country half a billion pounds.
This wasted money could have built several hospitals and dozens of schools.
A reader asked what purpose do PCC's serve; the cruel answer none apart from rewarding petty provincial nonentities with £80k a year 'allowances'. It's a national disgrace a Conservative government ever allowed the Lib Dems to force the idea on Cameron as the price of power: it's an even greater disgrace this government has not binned this trash.
The moment I read about the fining of two local women who wanted to walk by the Foremark reservoir in Derbyshire (and who were also told their hot drinks were a picnic and forbidden), I thought:
The Derbyshire PCC, Hardyal Dhindsa, a former Labour local councillor, said the police were reviewing the incident.
Mr Dhindsa is the man who vigorously defended the constabulary in March when they used drones to make a video attacking people who went for a walk: a blunder that was followed later by the resignation of the chief constable.
This time, and finally, after the police had apologised and refunded the fined women, comes a feeble statement from the PCC “welcoming” the force’s readiness to review and adding, “I am sure the force will learn lessons from this incident”.
Dimwit Dhindsa then tried to wriggle out of the exoneration of the two ladies adding this piece of nonsense; "However, it’s vital people not only abide by the law but they also enter into the spirit of lockdown. . . ” — as though these blameless women had failed to, or that there was any excuse for a simple case of officer-misjudgment.
Why that “however”?
Shouldn’t this just have been a matter of standing up unambiguously for two wronged members of the public?
PCCs are for the most part low grade party poodles and constabulary stooges.
Sweep them away...all of them lot of them!
