PRIVATE EYE AND CLLR PALMER

Looks like Cllr Palmer is having more than his fifteen minutes of fame...two mentions in Private Eye!
Did the Queen's Gate ward vote for an Independent? Well, that's what they have.
Time for a bye-election so residents can finally get rid of the imposter.

The Dame has waged a 'dirty war' against Cllr Palmer for many years. The outcome is the banishment of a senior and highly respected Conservative councillor. If the Dame thinks she is so perfect why does she not stand as a councillor. Shame on you, you vile old witch(I was going to switch w for b but my upbringing halted me)

  2. Did Andrew Foster get rid of Palmer? My information is that Palmer is still being paid to be a Conservative Councillor

Ha ha ha! It's true, Cllr Palmer is no longer listed as a Conservative on the Royal Borough website. It's a simple rule in any political party: campaign for a party that is standing candidates against your own party and that means immediate expulsion. Palmer campaigned for the Brexit Party (standing against Conservatives) so he was duly kicked out of the Conservative Party.

Richly deserved. Of course he won't have the decency to trigger a by-election but good luck to him holding Queen's Gate (or indeed any other ward) in 2022. He can enjoy two and a half more years on the backbenches as a lonely independent and then he will be done.

    Happy Friday everyone!!!

For the record, the RBKC website shows that he ceased to be a Tory on 23 September.

I hate to give him ideas, but the smartest move for him would be to just go on and join the Brexit Party. He's done as a Tory now. Finished. Finito. He would actually be a high profile recruit for the Brexit Party as a councillor in a prestigious London borough.
