"Dame, I can breathe sigh of relief. Have you seen who the Conservative Association has shortlisted to fight me?"
The Dame had to admit she hadn't.
What a shock when she saw the dimwits had put up....two nonentities and a GLA has-been!
Tony in mad professor mode |
Up first ...Tony Devenish whose sole claim to fame is as a GLA member. The Dame hears colleagues are desperate for Tony to be selected: they want to be shot of him so not a ringing endorsement.
Then we have the Association treasurer as a shoo-in.
Not much to say about Felicity Buchan.
Is there anything interesting to know about Felicity apart from her being nice and struggling in South Shields.
The really interesting one is Darren from the depths of bucolic Wiltshire...
Imagine the snobbish Dame's excitement when a Baroness Scott called her!
Milady Scott |
Darren |
But it seems the Association did listen when Jane insisted the only way to win over the north was to present her friend, Darren Henry.
Darren just happens to be a Wiltshire County Councillor and Baroness Scott just happens to be ex-leader of that Council.
Talk about carpetbagging!
Sheer madness and totally suicidal. Dent Toad will wipe the floor with these charisma free candidates.
ReplyDeleteWhere is Borwick. She is known and liked throughout the constituency
So they think a posh guy from Wiltshire will win over the north just because he's black? Simpletons!
ReplyDeleteSo Emma Dent Coad MP phoned the Dame to gloat. Nothing unusual about that because she is a very nasty woman. Victoria Borwick knows better than any other Tory how nasty Emma really is. Wake up Tories, if you want rid of the socialist hypocrite, you need to get Victoria Borwick to see her off for good
ReplyDeleteWTF Screech - more of the same!
ReplyDelete19.19 and 19.36. What are you thinking! Borwick lost the Tory stronghold. She lost the seat that the Tories could not lose. And she lost for good reason. She will never be Kensington MP again although I have no doubt she is conceited enough and out of touch with reality enough to try again. I am Tory through and through, but if it is between Borwick and Dent-Coad, Dent-Coad gets my vote!
ReplyDelete"if it's between Borwick and Dent Coad, Dent Coad gets my vote"
DeleteYou say you are a Tory through and through yet you would vote for an extreme Marxist who would decimate the UK economy; introduce confiscatory capital taxes; abolish the Royal family and make the UK a global basket case?
I say you are a total liar and have never voted Tory in your life or amazingly stupid...or, of course, you could be both!
If you're a member of the Tory Party, I will eat my hat. I would rather have Atilla the Hun than Emma Dent Coad.
DeleteThere'll be quite a lot of Labour people voting Tory at next General Election because they don't want an antisemitic marxist running the country.
Delete23.37 is non other than Cllr Palmer. He hates Borwick and is best friends with Dent-Coad. Birds of a feather
DeleteDear Emma Dent-Coad,
ReplyDeleteWe know that you fear Victoria Borwick as a political opponent most in the next parliamentary election. I think it was very "conceited" of you to stand for parliament in any constituency. You were given the order of the boot by Labour Councillors when you were Leader of the Opposition Group on Kensington and Chelsea Council. Whatever did they think they were doing? Tell me what possessed them to fire you?
Irony, 23.37 is Emma. She's got an ego. It's one of things that people dislike about her.
DeleteThe Conservative Party has become quite suicidal.
ReplyDeleteBorwick has been deeply involved with this constituency-north and south, for decades.
If the raison d'etre for not shortlisting her was down to her views on Brexit then you might as well declare war on every Remain MP in a Leave constituency. Borwick'e entire political life was devoted to helping residents and constituents whoever they might be. She will be greatly missed by those she has gone well beyond the call of duty for. It's enough to make one vote for the Brexit Party!
Labour and Tories are involved in a death spiral. Both organisations have lost the plot and are thrashing around in total confusion. Clearly demonstrated by recent election results. And the Kensington shortlist is a perfect reflection of this malaise.
ReplyDeleteOn Thursday this week the living dead of the local Conservative Association will make their final selection. It is a pot luck offering and it will be the black man.
Emma will be laughing all the way to the bank. Good on you, dear! The local Labour Party will be writhing in agony and despair.
i like the look of Darren
DeleteAnd he speaks beautifully
Deletespeaks beautifully about what?
DeleteA Squadron Leader too in the Air Force of Royal. VERY satisfactory
DeleteHe sounds really gorgeous,12.09
DeleteI prefer the Army. But the Wings will do.
DeleteIF the Lib Dems put up Linda Wade, Dent Coad and the Tory hopeful will go down the toilet pan.
DeleteIs Linda still around?
DeleteI believe Linda is still around.
DeleteLabour needs to wake up. Kensington is the most marginal constituency in England and Wales. Emma winning the last General Election was a fluke. She has never been popular with Labour Councillors, or working class voters. Labour's best chance of success is to put up Henderson for election to parliament. We need to stop Dent Coad ingratiating herself with Corbyn's inner sanctum
The Tory selection process is a "fix" and a cock up. The opening was agreed for Osborne who wants to make a return to politics. And the Association chose two donkeys to go up against him so that the outcome would be certain. Tory animal loves a celeb.
ReplyDeleteAt the last moment George pulled out. His private polling showed that the Tories are un electable in Kensington post Grenfell. For the next election at least. The Inspectors Report (which was promised for Nov 2018) will not emerge until 2021 at the earliest. Keeping the sore alive and bursting soon before the next election.
George is risk averse. And knows he will find a safer seat. And the poodles of the Association have egg on their face. Donkey No 3 was added to the list.
Have fun on Thursday, folks. The future is here
There is a piece about the Sunday Times about illegal subletting. It needs the two MP's on the case.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I am certain of is that Victoria Borwick would have immediately tried to get something done.
Henrey is ex Forces (no money) and has a wife and two teenage daughters in lovely Wiltshire (low cost of housing). The questions he needs to answer are: Will he move to Kensington? Can he afford to?
ReplyDeleteOn the button resident. He ticks all the boxes except residency
DeleteAnother screw up. The Tories could have adopted home grown Shaun Bailey
DeleteDent Coad, like Bailey, also claims to be "home grown" born in CHELSEA with the KENSINGTON constituency in her DNA.
DeleteThe only thing in Dent Coad's DNA is her obsession with her social class superiority. She told me and a lot of other people that she is of a higher class to any of the Tories serving the Council.
Darren plus wife, two teenage daughters and dog (Poppy) live in a five bed house in Wiltshire valued at £450k. Where will they find £2 million to buy a home in Kensington? And how much time will he spend on the ground (Kensington) between now and the next election?
Delete07.45. It's a good job that our Labour MP, Emma Dent Coad, can afford to live in Kensington. The class conscious Emma, must been feeling the pinch when she started drawing her Councillor's Allowance on the quiet. Emma orchestrated a fanfare when she made much of giving up her generous Councillor's Allowance when she got in to parliament. Must be hard to make ends meet when you are on £79K a year living in Kensington.
DeleteShe sounds like a socialist embarrassment.
ReplyDeleteDarren Henry would more than be a match for the pretentious marxist Emma Dent-Coad MP.
ReplyDeleteDarren would not dream of pulling rank by claiming to be of a higher class. He certainly would not talk down to the lower orders or tell them what to do. He may not be descended from some noble dynasty like Emma but he would know how to speak to another human being without scoffing or feigning incredulity or even worse being rude when another person disagrees. Emma might have class on her side but her attitude is not nice. She gloated to The Dame. Darren would bring dignity to the political scene in Kensington.
Darren needs to get around. Needs to get known. Does he have time to do this before the next General Election. He has no profile in Kensington. Is a total unknown entity. These things take time
DeleteIt should not cause a resourceful former military man too much difficulty to get around and make the right impression.
DeleteA.R. Sole, I think EDC is a pseudo marxist not a "pretentious" one. Sends her kids to public school, derives a snob value from her ancient social class heritage, has a superior attitude to those whom she would like to think were her social inferiors.
DeletePseudo rather than "pretentious."
When will our Labour MP condemn antisemitism in the Labour Party. Should we interpret her silence to mean that she is complicit in this vile cancer?
DeleteI am sure that the Tory who will be selected to fight her at the next General Election will have plenty to say about racism towards Blacks, Asians and Jews.
Now look. Boris Johnson is racist.
DeleteJeremy Corbyn is antisemitic and let his
mates get away with it.
Emma Dent Coad has form for racism
abusing a black person. She got away with
it too because she is upper class woman,
a Chelsea gal with roots in the Medici
dynasty and they away get away with bad
behaviour.
Johnson, Dent Coad and Corbyn- birds of a racist feather flock together. They don't know what it's like to be black.
DeleteThe Dame and her readers need to understand that the short list of selected candidates for election as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate is confidential information and that has not been made public. The Conservative Association Office will confirm this.
ReplyDeleteThe names shown above by the Hornet are a fantasy. More misinformation by the Dame and her followers.
The Official names will be released to Association Members at the Selection Meeting on Thursday 11th July in the Town Hall.
Judging from the comments in this blog there is absolutely no interest in Devenish or Buchan as Conservative candidates for Parliament.
ReplyDeleteAs for pin up boy Darren, talk about a cockerel in a fowl pen! (Danny Moylan will understand the pun. RIP)
Fowl pen? Do you mean chicken coup?
DeleteThe Conservative Office has confirmed that the final three names selected as candidates is confidential and will not be revealed to the Membership before the Selection Meeting on Thursday 11th July. The Office refused to comment on the three names revealed by the Dame.
ReplyDeleteIt is well known that the Dame's influence is everywhere and this is one of her routine "leak" stories.
