SLOANE STREET BECOMES HOSTAGE TO NO POLICING

On Saturday night Sloane and the surrounding streets were like something out of a Mad Max movie.
These scenes show a what happens when the police turn a blind eye to louts in noisy fast cars.
The police cannot pretend they knew nothing: this was a well-promoted event drawing this lawless tribe in from all parts of the Home Counties.
Up to the early hours of the morning drivers roared around the streets waking families and creating chaos.
It's time the police got a grip and stopped tolerating blatant anti-social behaviour.
