THE PASSING OF JOHN SCOTT: THE NOTTING HILL IMPROVEMENT SOCIETY
Though our Borough is replete with interesting personalities the death of John Scott is an especially sad loss.
Besides being a preeminent collector of Decorative Arts( THE FINE ART SOCIETY has his collection) John was a doughty fighter for the small shopkeepers of Notting Hill and a driving force of the Notting Hill Improvement Society.
John will be very much missed.
