DUMB POLICING

The clowning around by the police whilst Central London was paralysed by demonstrators is what happens the policing of London is in the hands of a couple of dunderheads like Cressida Dick and 'Khan't Do Anything Right'

Dancing Dimwits
Dick says the Government doesn't give enough money to properly police London yet in plain view of frustrated Londoners police officers-in a pathetic attempt to ingratiate themselves with lawbreakers-dance and skateboard

Skateboarding whilst London
grinds to a halt

  1. This world has changed. A new generation has had enough of old cronies banging on about Brexit. If future generations are to enjoy our beautiful planet, we must all change how we live; now and radically! The police and the Mayor are fully aware that they cannot use force to stop thousands of people demonstrating for our future. Millions of UK citizens support the demonstrators.

No, they don't....only dimwits like you who probably add nothing to the economy/and or work in the public sector. For those of us who work hard in business to pay for your lifestyle this sort of demonstration is a nightmare.

Strange that disgraced ex Cllr Moylan has not picked this up as his latest "cause". Lots of speaking and TV opportunities and his plumb tones would contrast well with the young unwashed demonstrators and the skateboarding cops.

Moylan could even stage a celebratory kiss with close friend and Westminster Councillor Master Davies of the whip

    2. This is not Moylan territory. But surprising there has been no sighting of socially conscious ex Cllr Rock-Fielding-Mellen. This is just up the pyrotechnics street.

You are the real problem. We all care with passion about global warming but blocking central London not just does huge damage to the city's economy it also cause vast traffic build ups and idling engines create huge pollution. Think before stating thickisms

I think all of this is very cool. Armchair Socialists, of the young variety, out for some fun to block the roads. And "with it" cops demonstrating their social skills (aka skateboarding). The cops kids watching on TV and thinking "my dads a star".

Britain is moving onto the 21st Century

  6. Attacking the messenger avoids the issue. Rather than my age (seventies) the matter is the future of the planet. Our children and grandchildren will pay the price.

Change is not an option. Politicians and business don't listen, so people of all ages and backgrounds are peacefully protesting. The disruption they cause is as nothing to the day London floods or runs out of food and water.

Doing nothing is no longer an option. Support change or ultimately witness the fall of our civilisation. Science and new technologies are the future, not ranting about the development of super luxury properties for foreign money launderers. The planet needs our respect and ordinary people need homes.

    1. That's what they say about BREXIT too. Stop moaning. The next generation will figure it out. Gives them something to do - a lazy and slothful lot.

    2. So the only option is to cause such disruption that were there to be a major emergency in C. London....a terrorist outbreak or some natural disaster hordes of protesters disrupting emergency services would be a small price to pay? You don't seem very intelligent/

  7. It is sad to think that it is the generation of this readership which contributed a great deal towards the current problems with EVERYTHING. Fortunately, for all of them, they will NOT be round when the shit will truly hit the fan....So let the younger generation air their frustration with all of those, who have vested interests in this mess..
As for the police? They can do precious little, as the hoards are only breaking minor laws. Arrest them? But, where are they going to put them, as many police stations have closed down. And as for the fun loving policeman? He is having fun, being paid overtime....

    2. Well said Sad Badger. We ARE the "next generation;" the last generation that can stop climate change - through new technologies rather than a return to the dark ages.

A police force emasculated by a blind, deaf right wing Tory government cannot possibly arrest thousands or perhaps tens of thousands of citizens.

As for "Tired of Life," he (surely it's a "he"?) is exactly that: TIRED OF LIFE. Not all of us are ready for the end of days; nor to bequeath it to our children.

  9. "Skateboarding and dancing policeman? They need to turn the water cannon on these pesky peaceful protestors!" fumes old Huffton-Tuffton of SW1, too addled to recall that the previous Mayor /wannabe PM, Bozo the Clown, had to junk his ill-considered German purchases.... at a £300K loss to London taxpayers... when the then Home Secretary/ shouldneverhavebeen PM, Mrs Hostile-Environment, banned them.

  10. I remember Bertrand Russel's CND non-violent demonstrations. When the demonstrators sat down outside the Ministry of Defence and blocked Whitehall there was no police namby pamby, they were cleared pronto. The same laws surely apply as then?

    1. Exactly and if insufficient police cells in London bus them to other parts of the UK

  11. These protestors are rampant users of mobile phones and planes for their gap years. Use of both creates huge ecological problems but that's ok these idle hypocrites have one law for themselves and another for others

  12. The issue is irreversible climate change rather than the perceived age or personal habits of people protesting against government and business inaction. Radical action over this issue is long overdue.

    1. and the use of mobile phones and air flights contribute to that

    2. Anonymous 16.00 is clearly psychic. He knows the personal habits of ten thousand of total strangers. The issue of climate change is by far the most serious we face; and we must face it.

  13. If one is a realist one can safely assume that my proposition is correct: however, the only realistic thing about you 17:33 is that you are a bit of a delusionist.

  14. Anonymous 19.47 remains positive that he has the flight schedules etc of a considerable percentage of the British public. An amazing chap! If he would now turn his extraordinary powers to sorting out how to revive the recently disappeared Darling river in New South Wales Australia, the world would be deeply grateful to him.
