ATKINSON AND DENT COAD 'PUT TO THE QUESTION"

Dame,

I occasionally read your stuff with varying degrees of amusement.

Here is a question for Cllr Atkinson and Mrs. Dent Coad, MP.

I have a business in the Royal Borough. I employ 18 people at different locations and have built up a portfolio of property from which several of the business operates.
Through intense hard work and self-sacrifice, I have made myself financially independent.

A Labour Government in waiting is proposing to tax my assets at a rate of 20% annually.

I am not a masochist so I propose to wind my business down and lay off my staff.
At the same time, I will liquidate my assets and move abroad.

I would not be making this plan if the Labour Party was led by the fiscally sane but it is not: it seems to be led by a bunch of ideologues with no idea about how business works or provides employment.

How would you, Cllr Atkinson and you Mrs. Dent Coad go about persuading me to continue to run my business and maintain the security of my employees?
I will be interested in what you have to say.

Regards

A local small business owner

My Dear deluded small business owner. The grass is always greener on the other side. Please go quickly to wherever you are thinking of moving abroad and you will quickly find that it is worse there than a Labour Government in the UK. Keep your staff and keep your business and work for a return of the Tories in the unlikely event of Corbyn and Co getting the keys to No 10

  2. Atkinson and Dent Coad are fringe players in Labour. They do not have a clue about intentions and will be guessing like the rest of us. The fact is that a dose of Labour might work wonders for the Kensington and Chelsea Tories and bring Hornton Street to its senses

Atkinson and Dent Coad want to soak the rich at all costs. They want us all shackled to the great socialist state. Good luck in winding up your business and moving your assets overseas. Sad that 18 jobs will go down the pan to bring on left wing daftness. They want our country to be like Venezuela... socialist and broke.

Corbyn is obsessed with reproducing the "socialist buzz" that he experienced in Nicaragua when he decided to drift after dropping out at North London Poly.

      Businesses provide prosperity for people.

  4. Neither JC's Labour nor the 'party of business 'as the hopelessly out-of-touch Tories like to imagine themselves (see also 'competent', 'strong & stable') are your friends. Best leg it abroad while that's still legit', before Mrs May or her even more unpalatable replacement, 'taking back control of our borders' denies millions the chance to work in the EU and the fall-out from Brexit turns Little England into an economic basket-case.

  8. The Labour lot don't care if 18 jobs go down the toilet because of their policies. They want a purest party and a marxist country. They forget that Marx said anyone who is not working is a "parasite." The disconnect for Abbot and Corbyn is that they do not have the wherewithal to create jobs for those whom they displace in Marxism UK. They will send those who lose their jobs in the great egalitarian dream straight to The Social. Will people get more Social under Labour? They never have before.
