It is time Robert Black was replaced at the TMO and Cllr Condon-Simmonds forced to retire.

It speaks volumes. Mention Simmons or Black in a Hornet Blog and residents let fly with information about what a catastrophe these two are.

Check for yourself but the above says that the local authorities cannot bring libel actions. Good to know though I would only post something that is true rather than spread rumours because you feel spiteful towards the Council.
My neighbour is talking about renting a room for a few hours at The Worlds End Theatre, inviting along all RBKC residents who would like to get involved to meet there and discuss a plan going forward, talking about getting signatures for an EGM, attendance at the AGM etc to make a KCTMO change happen.

Nobody will contact you. I've already tried and received no emails. This blog is where people just come to moan. I am even doubting to the point, if this blog is paid by the HQ, pretending to be on the side of residents.

ReplyDeleteMaighread Simmons is on the TMO board. When she doesn't succeed in putting pressure pressure on RBKC officers she then bullies TMO officers.

ReplyDeleteIt manages 153 social housing estates with tens of thousands of constituents. This makes for a dangerous cocktail for a corrupt councillor on the board.

ReplyDeleteIf the council was serious about ensuring that the TMO serves its residents effectively, it would not keep appointing Cllr Simmonds to the TMO Board. It would appoint someone prepared to challenge and act as a critical friend to the TMO. Cllr Simmonds does not do this; she gets drunk at TMO events, visits senior officers for social events in their own homes and, as stated above, gets favours for her friends. The TMO Board have their heads in the sand. For example, the review of events at Grenfell Tower just looked at the paperwork in the TMO office and found that it was all in order. The Board team reviewing matters – which included Cllr Simmonds – did not speak to a single resident of the Tower to gauge the resident experience of the refurbishment programme and the long promised resident survey has vanished. The TMO’s response to all criticism now is aggressive/defensive yet the sheer scale of concerns must alert them to the fact that something is going badly wrong. The poor service from Keepmoat alone is a classic example.

DeleteI heard that Cllr Blakeman was not allowed to speak at the council committee that got the Grenfell Tower report. So the councillor most closely involved with residents was gagged. Isn’t that censorship? Is the council now running a totalitarian state to protect the TMO?
ReplyDeleteCouncillor Simmons encourages the promotion of officers who undertake special favours for her "special friends". The TMO gardening man comes to mind. Dominic is very helpful.
ReplyDeleteand very good to an old woman, close to Simmonds, who won a prize for gardening when she didn't have a garden. She only had a flower pot.

What we should do in Chelsea Riverside is not vote for Councillor Simmonds at the next Council election.

All that she is interested in is her position as Councillor.
ReplyDeleteThe priviledge this position gives her and the social standing she believes she has as a result.
She uses the TMO resources and staff to maintain her position as Councillor.
