If you have not objected to the monstrous Newcombe House by 13 July there is every possibility that the Planning Inspectorate will give the go-ahead to a development that will forever blight a part of Notting Hill we all know; love and are desperate to preserve.
If you click on the image there are a whole host of reasons upon which you can base your objection.
Please don't slavishly stick to them, but adapt.
The Council are on the side of the angels on this, but who are those councillors voting to support rapacious developers.
Such traitors to the interests of residents need naming and shaming. Please click on the image below to know just how to stop this developer in his tracks.

The proposal really is monumentally inappropriate, both visually and for many other reasons.
ReplyDeleteFor instance the corner of Church Street will become Hurricane Alley. Newcombe House already creates a permanent gale, it's big brother will make standing at the bus stop virtually impossible. Not that the developers care about mere bus passengers. The building is specially designed to be elegantly empty. An idea already out of its time.
Cllrs David Campion, Paul Warwick & Sam Mackover all voted for the monstrous development.
ReplyDeleteAmongst those who rejected it were Cllrs David Nicholls, Quentin Marshall, Malcolm Spalding, Eve Allison, Kim Taylor-Smith and Emma Dent Coad
Cllr James Husband was also against the proposals
