We should be more sympathetic. The Sultan has doubtless looked at recent events in the Middle East and is naturally concerned for his future career.
ReplyDeleteNearer home one wonders how our planning department will deal with the plans to turn the upper storeys of Whitelys into flats.
A senior planning officer recently commented that RBKC is the only council in the country to be granted a total opt out from Pickles' plan for UK offices to be turned into flats, without planning permission. We may soon be treated to significant political contortions by the Council.
