Van Cleef and Arpels, the Mayfair-based jewellers put out this odd PR stunt the other day ....and you could not make up what the dimwits GUSHED! "Van Cleef & Arpels maintained close ties with a prominent American socialite Florence Jay Gould"
What the boys and girls in the PR department failed to note was that Florence Jay Gould spent the Paris war years working as a Nazi agent; laundering Nazi money...oh, and organising prostitutes for high-ranking SS officers.
By flaunting its relationship with the depraved and wicked Nazi Van Cleef & Arpels insults the memory of an Arpels killed in a concentration camp.
Gould once said, "Money doesn't care who owns it":
