CLLR MILLS TEAMS WITH CLLR PALMER

There are two great mysteries of our day:
Palner checking his portfolio
on his taxpayer funded laptop
during a vital meeting

Mystery One is why deranged Cllr Palmer was not deselected by Cllr Mills and Mystery Two is why in heaven's name she would appoint this ejit to select candidates.
One candid candidate called the Dame and said that he was interviewed by barking mad Palmer.

He wondered whether the lunatics had taken over the asylum and was considering his position.

What on earth does Mills think she is doing?
Palmer brings the Conservative Party into disrepute.
If this is an example of the Conservative Association's 'strategic thinking' then they can kiss goodbye to a majority.

Cllr Palmer has established a high degree of credibility and confidence with the Conservative local party organisation of Kensington and Chelsea. He is the "go to" Councillor in the North Kensington Office and has been given special responsibility for the May 2018 election. For many years he has enjoyed the support of the Chairman, Cllr Mills.

His private use of the Conservative office telephone at 1A Chelsea Manor Street to make calls to Australia has now been forgotten.

Cllr Palmer is confident that he will be given a Cabinet Post after the election in May 2018. He has told the party that he will work hard for a "win", he expects to "win", and hopes that his efforts will be rewarded by a promotion.

Compared with many of the other Tory Councillors he certainly "puts the hours in" and especially with the female seniors like Cllr Mills his style of flattery is his personal version of upward management. His dedication is helped by the fact that he is unemployed, and has been for a considerable time.

There is no relationship between Cllr Palmer and the Leader of Council, Cllr Dizzy Lizzy. Dizzy is pre occupied with her media appearances, is not "drawn" to Palmer, but tolerates him because she is wary of making an enemy of Cllr Mills who privately has nothing but contempt for Dizzy.

A new Chairman of the local party will be elected this month and Palmer's power base could be threatened. For example, Cllr Ahern considers Palmer to be a deranged idiot.

    1. Wrong I am afraid. Palmer had his telephone spree at Stratford Road. No it’s not forgotten. Why is he being allowed to stand again?

  7. If you were really ‘familiar’ you would know that the meeting is this evening. In the best journalistic tradition you make it all up in the pub.

    1. She has left "son of Handbag" in charge of the organisation - The "lets get that useless Borwick back" team were seriously humiliated when their candidate withdrew 5 minutes before the AGM. It was so funny - talk about marching your men up and down the hill. The steam coming out of one geriatric Councillor made him look like a boiled egg.

    2. Sounds like a good meeting. Democracy in action.

  12. There were 2 old fools shouting... One was a failed Minor Counties cricketer-certainly has never been a Councillor-the guy who was right at the back-who was really shouting-who looked like he had his teeth smashed in a brawl-if he was a Councillor it must have a been a very long time ago...

  14. Be careful what you wish for as the saying goes. So we now have Cllr Mills gofer as chairman. Let’s hope he can distance himself from his former boss. She couldn’t sun a ***up in brewery. Couldn’t even send out meeting notices or collect subscriptions. Palmer hoping no one was going to ask about international phone calls before the Election. Come on Palmer tell us all.
