left: nearly there.....
A very special day...just a couple of dozen more visits and 80,000 visitors will have dropped by to see how things are done in the Royally Rotten Borough. The Dame was going to step out for a celebratory lunch with her man of secretive offshore business, ex Cllr and Worshipful Mayor Barry Phelps, but a mysterious phone call from Hornton Street stayed her hand.
She has been told to stay close to her telephone and await a surprise call from a very important personage.
Who could be calling to congratulate her on the stunning success of her little blog........
May I be the first to congratulate Dame Hornet. Her blog has surely cast sunlight on the dark and dirty goings on in Hornton Street. We need many more of the council focused sites: they put corrupt councillors in fear and trembling. And judging from all that we read there are many.

Dearest Dame, we have been waiting all afternoon to find out who was going to call you. No updates?
ReplyDeleteMay I be the second to congratulate you? And for those cynics out there, you can't bump up the figures by logging in and out (I just tried).
No, Mosquito and thank you. I think the 'mysterious call' was a wicked and mischievous prank by a jealous "Driveller" Palmer
ReplyDeleteDear Dame
ReplyDeleteIs it true you know the identity of one more councillor suffering from
'Lamont-Phelps Syndrome'?
Congratulations on your success. Here's to the next 80,000!
ReplyDelete@17:39, "Lamont-Phelps Syndrome"? That sounds like a bad case of haemorrhoids!
Congrats on your success. Eagerly anticipating more revelations on this blog.
ReplyDeleteDear Dame
ReplyDeleteThat's very naughty of Driveller, he's been given express instructions not to get into trouble as they can't afford another by-election and sad to say there are knaves out there who would do anything legal to oust him.
I myself was subject to a prank call (and not a funny one) by Driveller, what a sorry specimen he is!
Congratulations on 80,000 views.
ReplyDeleteSunlight is the best disinfectant.
Keep up the good work.
