ONE PLANNING RULE FOR LOCALS:ANOTHER FOR MIDDLE EASTERN MULTIBILLIONAIRES

If humble local taxpaying residents put advertising hoardings like those below outside their homes the planning enforcement officer would be down on them in a New York minute.
So, why do the Council allow these blatant infringements in Knightsbridge to remain? Could the fact that the owners of both sites are Middle Eastern;one from Qatar, the other Saudi Arabia have something to do with it?
It's not too different to the plague of Middle Eastern supercar that hurtle, unhindered,  around our streets
These people have become a class of 'untouchables'

    Also council is terrified of aggressive behaviour from Savillsky et al whose slippery tounged advocacy runs rings around leaden-footed council officers when planning applications go to appeal

    There are countless examples of blatant advertising on hoardings. Come and Campbell....do something about it....or are you scared of Stallwood and his mob?

    Campbell is as impotent as a post-menopausal female in a fertility clinic..indeed anon 18:59 is probably right. I just hope that these envelopes are stuffed with new notes.. Ooops, £ 50 not yet issued. Comment does not apply, yet.

    Post-menopausal females, Sad Badger, are quite the opposite of impotent. I'm no fan of Elizabeth Shambles, but gendered insults like this went out with the Ark, and are a waste of all the perfectly good reasons she gives us daily for insulting her.
