PRIME MINISTER VISITS LANCASTER WEST

Mr Myers has given Prime Minister Pooter permission to use the £120,000 Mayoral Bentley on his Monday visit to the Borough's northern nether regions.
WON"T GIVE POOTER JOB
The visit is top secret and involves those two great beneficiaries of local government taxation, Pooter and Sir Rod Aldridge of Crapita, performing a 'sod cutting ceremony' to inaugurate the start of the Kensington Academy and Leisure Centre.
The story that Pooter will use the moment to beg Rod for a Crapita non executive directorship is wholly  unsubstantiated.....whatever else he is..... fool Rod is not!

Pooter has an insatiable need to feed his sad little ego. One would have thought he would have jumped at the chance to be seen with a big hitter like Rod. Seemingly not: even that irritating self publicist Cllr ‘Betsy’ Campbell has been told to put a sock in it!
So nothing on the Council website and no invitation to local resident groups. Fortunately, The Hornet is able to help. It appears the Grenfell Action Group are standing by to give the PM a ‘very warm welcome’ this Monday 4.00pm!

The Dame hears this sodding stunt may well have been scheduled for January or February, but the accident strewn project was partly delayed because Environmental Health had cocked up and overlooked the asbestos and lead on the site, whilst the Legal Department had not bothered to remove local residents’ “Rights of Way”.
Local residents have been treated in a contemptible manner. The KALC project has been foisted upon them with no account taken of unacceptable levels of noise and pollution. To worsen matters residents have no access off the Estate towards Ladbroke Grove and Portobello Rd and have lost their children’s playground. Now they have nowhere to take fresh air or walk their dogs.
Had Cockell tried this number on in the affluent south of the Borough he would have had his backside kicked.

  1. What we love about the Dame is that though she is an old fashioned Tory she can't bear the disadvantaged being bullied by jumped little tikes like Cockell and his dreadful friends...one can see that Pooter went to some frightfully common little boarding school in Surrey

  2. If Prime Minister Cockell is starting to use the Bentley again "in order to save taxi fares" then the system has started to spin out of control again and this grubby little ego maniac is stoking his vanity. The Dame needs to be very vigilant and watch out for more top class dining for friends "whose name our Leader forgets" before charging up to council tax

  3. Sounds like another five years of Cockell so that he will be around to open the North Kensington Academy. This guy just not get it. No idea when the time comes to quit.

Note: it came 8 years ago

  4. No chance of the prat slipping in unnoticed. The Grenfell Action Group just need to look out for the little idiot in the Bentley. This is security planning Hornton Street style

  5. All of this activity is more evidence that the Dictator is planning to hang on and dish out more misery to K&C council tax. The idiot is still writing pathetic letters pleading for a Cross Rail station at Kensal Green. Its gone Mate. Hammersmith got it. Wake up and move on

  6. He is still using the Bentley.

  7. This is more evidence that Cockell continues to use the Royal Borough for purposes of personal promotion. High time for Conservative councillors to get rid of the menace and bring in a new broom to sweep Hornton Street. And one or two poodles need to get off the coke

  8. Dont expect any of these toothless, spineless bunch to do anything to oust their Master, he still rides the Bentley, continues to be less than value for money and is a total embarrassment. The residents will need to oust him, maybe the people of Grenfell will finally accomplish what the Tory Party have failed to do.

  9. Silly Sod Cockell will supposedly travel to low income N. Kensington a Bentley.

Thanks to the Dame's timely intervention, he may well amend his travel plans. However, such failures to grasp basic reality smack of the dangerous lunacy of the North Korean regime.

  11. Sadly, it is the fault of senior members of the Council who are quite happy live off the fat of the land and ignore the harm that Sir Merrick is doing. In my view these Councillors are equally to blame for the poor performance of this council. It is outrageous the way Sir Merrick has been allowed to hog the post of Leader; how long is it now; it might be as much 14 Years. Sir Merrick to be an awful example of Tory custodianship. It is unbelievable that someone can be allowed to abuse his position and be allowed to continue for such a long tenure. As for Sir Merrick, he really is starting to be a serious embarrasement to Central Office and his presence alone is a good reason to seriously think twice about voting Tory again.

  12. Update:
The Prime Minister and his poodles from the Aldridge Foundation and contractors, Leadbitters, got their arses firmly kicked at the Grenfell Action Group demo earlier today.
Up to 35 residents braved the freezing cold to let Sir Merrick know that we are tired of living in slum like conditions, with no access off the Estate to Ladbroke Grove and nowhere to take a walk or let our children play.
Anyway, not the peaceful little sod cutting exercise they had been hoping for with Pooter getting quite irate with protesters taunts and answering back like a petulant schoolboy.
Little toad couldn't get off the Estate quick enough while mumbling something about a promised £40 million for future housing in Lancaster West. Chance would be a fine thing as social cleansing is all we have to look forward to in this neck of the woods.

  13. This sounds as though the Action Group have no vision beyond the end of their noses. Development work is always difficult while it happens - but at the end of it, you get something really nice.

    1. That may be. But, there is no crime in campaigning for better living conditions and investment in Lancaster West Estate.

    2. ".....at the end of it, you get something really nice" Wake up and smell the coffee 21.00. Either you have never seen the plans for the KALC project……. or your name is Blakeman. The people at end of whose noses this cheap and nasty monstrosity of an academy will be built have nothing to look forward to except trouble, both during construction and afterwards. Lancaster Gree is gone and it ain’t coming back. The pathetic bit of manicured lawn that will take its place is designed for the conveniwence of future users of the academy and sports centre. Local residents have nothing to gain from this . We also have lost our precious playground in the interim, and our rights-of way to boot. Try explaining to a four year old why she can’t go out to play, why she has such a long walk to school every day, and why the house shakes constantly and is bombarded with horrendous noise.
