It has now decided to pretend it's a commercial entity.
Any PR agency would do the job for £65,000 a year with none of the overheads.
Dear Dame,
The Westway Trust is now advertising for a marketing manager on £30,000 a year and a head of PR and communications on £43,000 a year.
They'll both be reporting to the Marketing director who is paid I know not what, but it must be more than £55,000 a year. Let's round it all up to a conservative £170,000 a year including national insurance, pension and back office costs.
This is easily enough money to do some real good for the underprivileged of North Kensington.

What on earth are three folk going to do all day? An appalling waste of money!
best wishes,
North Kensingtonian
And poised to expel Sarah and her wonderful ponies and horses from their home of many, many years beneath Westway, loyally serving the local community. What is the fate of the animals? To be destroyed. Utterly disgraceful. It will take more than highly paid PR people to save Westway's face over this scandal.
ReplyDeleteWhen you listen to the new executive team at Westway it all sounds very impressive; destination westway, 'join us' etc. However, when you actually look at what is happening it's absolute rubbish; desperately unhappy frontline staff, confused messaging, price rises in the gym and sports centre, 'westway presents' presenting very little. I despair!
