THE DAME GIVES A CANING....

Hill House School has been seriously castigated by Ofsted for poor academic performance.
But it's not just the academic area that it gets into trouble.
Irresponsible Hill House

On countless occasions, the council has tried to persuade the school to use staff to prevent parents double and treble parking. It creates congestion and anti-social behaviour but, more importantly, endangers children and other users.
Blithely, the HM, Mr. Townend brushes off the concerns and refuses to do anything about it.

Responsible Knightsbridge
On the other hand, the excellent and professionally run Knightsbridge School has a team of staff stationed at dropping off and collecting times to ensure there is no irresponsible parking. They have signs telling parents to exercise care.
Not long ago a South American lady lost a leg because a Garden House School parent double parked and created a driver blind spot.
Garden House School

Come on, schools! Follow the example of Knightsbridge School. Put staff on the street to manage your ill-mannered driving parents
You have a responsibility to the community.

  1. I never cease to be amazed at the irresponsible behaviour of parents-supposedly educated, who just dump their cars outside Hill House. Townend sets an appalling example to chidren

Frankly, children are the problem. They should be raised in the country. Dogs too.

  4. Whatever happened with kids walking to school

  5. I remember when I was of school going age, I WALKED to my school. What on Earth is wrong with kids today, unable to walk a short stretch from home to their school? These are never far too away, because of the catchment area. At least the kids would be getting much needed exercise. But the parents would also have to walk too. That is obviously, a big no no. WALK?

    1. The problem is the peculiar British idea of putting toddlers in private schools far away from home instead of in the closest state school. In most other European countries, as well as in the US, private schools are almost unheard of - and still their kids end up just as bright!

    2. Many of them considerably brighter.

    3. I agree but with reservation. Our little boy is at a Catholic primary school. It consistently scores top in Ofsted and the teaching is superb.
It makes Hill House look third rate. However, not too many primary schools reach that level of perfection

    4. Most of the children in the preps in Kensington & Chelsea are Euro trash. Most Englanders have been forced out of London.

    5. Tom, most parents are even unable to put their children in the closest school as influx of European children.

  6. No need to be nasty @15:23, didn't you learn any manners at school?

    1. Good manners you learn from your parents not school. Could have called them something worse. The Europeans have the worse manners known to man, Eurotrash describes them to a tee.

If you lived in the borough you would know.

They also love dumping their rubbish on the roads and pavements.

      Roll on Brexit! Yippeee!

  7. @19:57 Ha ha - Africa and Asia are not in Europe and Brexit will not affect that influx.

Who will you turn to for your plumbing, electrical and building work after Brexit, because there will be none to do it, but there maybe lots of taxi drivers.
