JULIE MILLS HEDGE BETTING


The comment below sums up Julie's survival strategy.
Will it work? Sounds a bit naughty to the old Dame.
Talk about hedging your bets! Will the owner of this comment email the Dame so a confab can ensue?

    This is pure mischief. We adore ex Mayor Cllr Julie Mills in Norland Ward.

    The one we could not stand was Cllr Faulks. Could not get rid of her quickly enough. Reorganisation saved the day, we got shot of her, and the idiots in Campden Ward picked up the disaster. When buffy Buckmaster retired as one of the Campden Ward Councillors the misguided Cllr Paget-Brown (remember him?) ran a stealth campaign to shoehorn Cllr Faulks into the Ward. To the amazement of those who attended the Ward meeting to appoint the new candidate piggy stood up and endorsed birdbrain Faulks! What brain there is (and this is doubtful) is disconnected from her mouth. And her property business creates a huge conflict of interest which dear friend the silly Cllr Leader Dizzy Lizzy is prepared to tolerate and brush under the carpet. A pair of carpet baggers. The result was that Campden Ward got lumbered with Faulks instead of young and able activist Maxwell Woodger who came a close second.

    Ever since then, the residents of Campden have been living with their walking disaster.

      What a strange story. This was the same time that Cllr Palmer was "shoehorned" into Cllr Moylan's "Queens" Ward. A controversial "fix" and the dreadful Palmer (propelled by the Masons) made it by one vote only.

      When the Hornton Street Tories are going to "fix" things they should at least try to do so with candidates of quality

    The blogger is quite right to point out that "something is going on". Something very good, as it happens.

    Cllr Mills, Ward Councillor for Norland and Chairman of the Kensington, Chelsea and Fulham Conservatives , is leading by example. She understands that the Tories need to look and feel differently if they are going to stand a chance of holding the Council at the May elections in 2018 and she has told the Ward Chairman and sitting Councillors that they need a clear out. All Councillors should stand down and offer themselves for re election so that Wards have the opportunity to create a fresh face for the electors.

    Julie has done her best. If the Turkeys ignore her then they are voting for Christmas.

    Why are Paget-Brown and Feilding-Mellen still collecting their councillor's allowance when they are doing nothing? Cllr Dent Coad is no longer collecting hers since her elevation to the House.
