SPORTS DIRECT TO KNOCK DOWN MARLBOROUGH PRIMARY SCHOOL

TO HELP SAVE THE MARLBOROUGH PRIMARY SCHOOL

So the man who will be making shedloads of money razing to the ground the beautiful Marlborough Primary school is now none other than this man....the mysterious Mike Ashley, founder of those Sports Direct outlets that pollute our streets.
This is even more reason to sign the petition.

In a late night deal last Friday, John Lewis flogged on the Clearings site to Ashley. 
Ashley plans to make close to a billion pounds developing the site, including the school, by building more buy to leave homes for the international super rich. 
Or those from countries you don't want your gap year daughter sending postcards from.

    K&C is a one stop shop for making quick development money. Stallwood and Warwick are permanently at the front door with their grubby little hands oiling the brass door knobs.

    Odious Ashley knows a certainty when he sees it. Not the kind of person that we need in the Royal Borough. Better if he stayed where he came from.

    This is typical of the rotten value system that currently rules in K&C. Of course what the Leader and Cabinet are doing is legal - but is it right?

    Sell the school for property developers to make money. Sell the Riding School in North Kensington - the Westway Trust just needs to give notice and the property developers move in and make another killing.

    Sell Charles House DHSS Office, destroy 2000 inner city jobs, knock it down and let the property developers make a killing from "buy to leave".

    What kind of society do we want? That is the question. "Listening" Paget-Brown hears his own voices. This week he is crowing that the Borough's satisfaction survey is the "best ever". Does the chump ever question why the survey is so good at the same time as the massive protests going on about basements, Sutton Dwellings, the riding school, Holland Park Opera etc etc etc.

    Could the satisfaction survey be another rjoke?

      Rich pickings for developers and rewards for councillors while the residents of Kensington and Chelsea loose services and homes.
