POOTER'S LONELY WALKABOUT IN SUTTON DWELLINGS!
The Dame reported that Pooter followed Fragrant-Howells's advice and pootled down to Sutton Buildings....it was not a success..... Here is a pic of Pooter looking lost and lonesome....not one resident could be bothered to meet him.
Councillors with a combined service of 64 years have finally discovered they have residents who have never attended a Conservative Association sherry party - and they have CONTRARY OPINIONS! This shocking discovery has lead them to make an accompanied visit to the hinterland, where security staff protected them against the rotten egg-throwing proletariat.
As it happened, the aforementioned proles neither recognised them, nor could be bothered to speak to them if they had.
What a pathetic shower they are. Residents recognise mediocrity and inconsequence when they see it.
I sense panic.....why do three of the most disinterested and disconnected from resident councillors visit Sutton Buildings? They have shown not the remotest interest when Affinity Sutton planned to raze most of it and now they are all over it like cheap suits.
Hysterical. You can feel P Warrick's discomfort despite his raffish linen jacket, Pooter is trying to look cool but caring but fails, and Will 'most boring man on the Council' Pascall just wants outtahere.
Somebody on the estate claimed that he had seen the 3 Stanley Ward Councillors on the estate. Another replied that he had apparently seen Lord Lucan riding Shergar on the estate as well
Residents of the Sutton Estate rather than whining should be grateful that these three dignitaries led by a knight of the realm deigned to come and visit them, and start showing them the respect they are due.
Quite right Anonymous 10.40, people with 64 collective years on the Council who've done nothing whatever for their residents shouldn't even be allowed to vote.
How are the mighty fallen? During the Lamont local by election, Pooter campaigned in Norland. Due to his great eminence, he was surrounded by a retinue of councillors.
Which bit of Norland though? I doubt it was any of the social housing in the ward, of which there is quite a bit. That's always been overlooked by all Tories, including the ward Councillors who clearly have f-all idea of what's actually happening on their "patch".
In this case the "problem" is that this is very probably the first time a Tory Councillor has ever visited the Sutton Estate. And sadly it's not to help the residents but to secure their votes. Priorities dear boy!
Not council estates, but proceeding in state near Clarendon Cross. Agreed that no Tory councillor has ever visited the council estates in the area. They are grim and the atmosphere hostile.
Until the recent publicity in Colville, no Tory councillor went north of Westbourne Grove, because it's full of poor people. RBKC's solution was to demolish council flats. The Grosvenor Estate protected Portobello Court by demanding the return of the land if it was no longer used for social housing. RBKC demolished the Worthington flats. Their expensive replacements apparently leak like sieves. It's blatant social engineering.
The Council estate are grim and the atmosphere hostile in Norland? Really?!?! Have you been anywhere near them? The problem is the razor-thin veneer of respectability covering up some very severe cases of poverty and deprivation, not the place looking a bit "iffy". But as long as everything looks okay ...
You are correct. I have been to several of the Norland council estates and am aware of the poverty and deprivation that exists just below the surface. This is particularly shocking when contrasted with the exceptional opulence of neighbouring properties. For years the Council has provided the estates with a minimum level of maintenance. So they are grim, rather than being attractive homes for the benefit of their residents.
RBKC's policy is to solve its issues of poverty by demolishing the homes of the poor and shipping them out of London. I do not know Sutton Buildings, but have little doubt demolishing them is yet another example of RBKC's social cleansing policy.
I feel nothing but repulsion for these councillors who have had years to visit the estate and only now just before an election decide to go to one for a photo opportunity. I have voted Conservative ever since I was able, but I will not vote for these shoddy councillors any more, and will be giving my votes to the Independents.

They think residents are all morons.
ReplyDeleteI sense panic.....why do three of the most disinterested and disconnected from resident councillors visit Sutton Buildings? They have shown not the remotest interest when Affinity Sutton planned to raze most of it and now they are all over it like cheap suits.
ReplyDeleteSilly man
ReplyDeleteHysterical. You can feel P Warrick's discomfort despite his raffish linen jacket, Pooter is trying to look cool but caring but fails, and Will 'most boring man on the Council' Pascall just wants outtahere.
ReplyDeleteAllegedly one of the residents enquired if they were anything to do with inspecting the drains.
ReplyDeleteSomebody on the estate claimed that he had seen the 3 Stanley Ward Councillors on the estate. Another replied that he had apparently seen Lord Lucan riding Shergar on the estate as well
ReplyDeleteWerent aware that these kind of people were allowed to vote.

ReplyDeleteMatey 10.47 - that's the point. Residents DID show them the respect they deserve.
DeleteYou have a sense of humour! Sir Pooter is an ex fag salesman who thought he could make more money as a cllr....how right the greedy bugger was!
DeleteQuite right Anonymous 10.40, people with 64 collective years on the Council who've done nothing whatever for their residents shouldn't even be allowed to vote.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Now what do we do to stop them?
Chelsea Independent
DeletePooter Cockle looking for projects that will pay him money. Won't find anything in Sutton Dwellings. What a pathetic trougher

How very true Lemon. This is probably also true of nearly all Tory Councillors in all wards.
