The Dame has a special interest in this subject....
A very good friend of hers, with a very young child, has been persecuted by endless noise from a throughly thoughtless contractor RE GORE LTD. 
If you happen to live near to one of their sites be very, very fearful.....
They have made her life, and those of neighbours,  living hell.
Frankly, no contractor should be allowed to work at any time at weekends. That should be the message to the council.
