BREAKING NEWS! STALLWOOD SIDES WITH RESIDENTS.....

It seems Mr. Stallwood, our planning boss, has had a Damascene conversion.
He is beginning to understand, being paid more than the PM, plus a gigantic pension pot, he needs to defend the interests of residents.
The Evening Standard reports this LINK
His past record gave the impression residents were a bit of a nuisance and he preferred dealing with rich and powerful developers....
Maybe he fell for the charms of Miss Trollope?

  1. No doubt thanks in part to Cllr EDC, who will be Labour's parliamentary candidate for Kensington.

  2. Is this a rumour or has a decision been made?

Don't be silly. EDC is head and shoulders superior to the rest.

  3. Quite possibly, but that's not the issue. Has a decision been made?

  7. Cllr Dent Coad is the obvious choice. When her selection is announced I hope all of her many supporters who read the Dame will come out fighting for her. She not only champions the poor folk of the north of the borough, she works across the field and supports us against evil planners and developers. She even supported Notting Hill Prep in our fight against Chepstow School over who would get the Isaac Newton site. All power to Cllr EDC to rid us of the lickspittle Borwick.

  9. In the words of Cllr Ahern, this is a "resident friendly decision".

Let there be more of them.

    Well done Director Stallwood.

  10. Re EDC's post about social care. It would be interesting to see how many of these who 'lost' social care have been removed from the Borough to some unmentionable areas? East, North - wherever?
All the savings made, yet nobody ever thought of re-activating the very useful 'Stay Put' service of tradesmen attending to small repairs?
