A DAY OF THE LONG KNIVES OR NOT?

Tasteful
It's Saturday morning... The Dame reposed on her faux Louis Quinze day bed....her tasteful telephone tinkles.

"Who's there" commands the Dame.
Silently, the Dame listens to yet another tale of woe.
It's a sobbing and inconsolable Cabinet member.....

The Dame's ample bosom
It seems that there has been some re-shuffling at Hornton St and certain political ambitions stymied.

So, who will be calling on the Dame, anxious to find comfort in her ample and maternal bosom?

We know the Dame is the soul of discretion, and would land anyone in 'the vernacular'. But any clues, anybody?

No doubt there are plenty of wish-lists, we've seen them all right here. Two by-elections and a Cabinet reshuffle. There are endless possibilities.

    Any intel out there?

    3. Wasn't the Dame the first to hear of Emma Dent Coad being seen off by her party.

  3. Oh no, Pip Pip, do you think it could be him?

He was looking decidedly 'flat' at the last Council meeting. Poor Piglet has lost his haycorns. Oh d d d dear.

    1. I hope Piglet is not considering a return to Cabinet for Moylan.

  4. Oh they are in total disarray. Piglet doesn't want anyone to step out of line, but has no idea what he does want. Apart from another Lord Leighton painting.

  5. Leadership is tough. Needs more than piglets.

  6. So is the word out yet? Who's off to the slaughter house? Not Piglet, surely? We have our theories ...

  7. It's widely known that Ahern can't wait to get out of it. That would leave a pair of very tiny but well polished brogues to fill.
