VICTORIA BORWICK IN BROMPTON AND HANS TOWN WARDS

Now here is someone who really does work hard for us all.
The Dame makes no apologies for singing the praises of Victoria Borwick.
She will prove to be an outstanding MP, just as she proved to be an excellent, hardworking and independently minded councillor.

Dear Resident,

Would you like to raise any issues with your MP and Local Councillors?

There is a Ward Forum for Residents in Brompton & Hans Town Ward taking place from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday 24th of September at St. Columba's Church on Pont Street (SW1X 0BD).

I will be there to take your questions and hear your concerns along with Local Councillors Nick Paget-Brown, Tim Coleridge and Mary Weale. We are here to help with anything we can.

Click here or reply to this email if you would like to attend. You can find full details about the event and some local news by clicking here or on the images below to display the event flyer.

I look forward to meeting you.

Best wishes,

Victoria Borwick MP

  2. I work as a researcher for a member of the Lords. When Borwick turned up to a meeting she was late, scruffy and did not know what the purpose of the meeting was. Those who were there rolled their eyes upwards.

Palmer...if you were a researcher you might know that we say either...you are or you're! Don't parade your ignorance.

  5. This is a very silly thread. Unlike all her predecessors (not including Sir Brandon Rhys-Williams) Victoria is being extremely responsive to residents. She is holding surgeries around the whole constituency - she actually knows where north Kensington is! She might not be an intellectual, or Cabinet material but by golly she is on the way to becoming a fantastic constituency MP.

    PS I don't vote Conservative.

  6. While not a Conservative, I too wish Victoria well. However I am concerned at the possibility that she has too many irons in the fire. Unless I'm mistaken, as well as being our MP, Victoria remains a deputy mayor of London and a local councillor; plus very recently assuming the presidency of at least one national commercial organisation. This is a massive workload.

    1. I believe she gave up her position as Statutory Deputy Mayor of London soon after her election as a Member of Parliament and she has recently relinquished her place as an Assembly Member on the Greater London Authority to concentrate on matters Kensington.

  7. Mary Weale is utterly useless and bone idle. She was given a Cabinet job as she was fired from her job as an insurance broker and needed the money

  8. You can see all of Borwicks gang on this thread 12:36, 16:18 & 12:34.

  9. I hope that Lady Borwick will be able to something about the Kensington and Chelsea TMO. She had to toe the party line when she was on the Council but now that she is parliament she could tread where Councillors do not dare to tread

  10. Victoria was all day at the TMO Residents' Conference yesterday, unlike Paget-Brown and Hargreaves, who just came in, made their speeches and then left. Only one Labour councillor there all day or at all. I thought they represented the TMO residents? Several of them are TMO tenants.
