A reader who knows writes.....
"I was informed that the last post "A Happy Day for Developers" was blocked from computers accessed via the council server(!)
Censorship of the Hornet blog seems to be going on..."
This sits uncomfortably with Nick Paget-Brown's listening mode.
The Dame does not believe Nick would condone such petty North Korean tendencies.
Not true - I got it through the Council server this morning.
ReplyDeleteNick Jong il - Council is about as Transparent as the fog that hangs over Hong Kong !
ReplyDeleteKensington Town Hall is one big fog. It reminds me of Dickens' description of the Court of Chancery in the case of Jarndyce- v- Jarndyce.
DeletePeople need to remember this when they visit the Ballot Box next time !
ReplyDeleteYada Yada Yada - Classic Cameronian Ploy - Say one thing do - do another .
ReplyDeleteCan Cllr Palmer still access ' Candy Crush ' - it would be awful for the poor chap if he has to actually listen to debates .
ReplyDeleteAs at the border between North & South Korea, I suggest the Dame park vans with loudspeakers outside the despots' dwellings - she knows where these weasels skulk - and broadcast 24/7. The truth must out!
ReplyDeleteNot a great problem.... This site can be accessed from other media, such as smartphones, tablets, etc....The Council CANNOT and MUST NOT have the means of silencing the internet.....
ReplyDeleteIt may still occur. At one time someone in Hornton Street was paid record every comment on the Hornet blog - at taxpayers' expense of course.
ReplyDeleteDelighted to read this. I hope they do pay attention to what the Dame and her followers are saying.
DeleteNothing new in any of this. The Kensington and Chelsea TMO, who run the Council estates on behalf of the Council, configured the servers on their computers so that they could ban all of their workers from visiting the website of Mustafa Curry.
DeleteTaffy Curry did a great public service by showing up the TMO on his website.
Newman Noggs at 19.19 talks about TMO workers.
DeleteNo one works for the TMO. It is like saying that someone worked for British Rail.
I've heard dreadful things about that TMO. I gather it is worse than the Council.
DeleteI work at the TMO. The bosses were terrified we would go to the Hornet to find out the truth.
DeletePeople today look back on the Workhouses which existed one hundred years ago with loathing and disgust.
DeletePeople will in one hundred years time look back on the TMO with similar loathing and disgust.
All this about the TMO is interesting. Juliet Rawlings told me that two members of the panel who interviewed people for the job as Chief Executive did not want Robert Black to get the job. She told me that Robert had very good references. I told Juliet that everybody knows job references are subjective opinions and of limited value
DeleteRobert Black has been a major disappointment. I have met the Head of TMO Repairs,Peter Maddison, whose attitude stinks; very awkward and difficult. Time to organise a petition demanding the removal of Robert Black and Peter Maddison.
DeleteO7.48 Take it from me the TMO is a million times worse than the Council. It has got worse under the bloke who is in charge of it now.
ReplyDeleteWhy do people put up with the TMO.
DeleteThe one who is in charge of the TMO now is not very good. Hope he moves on soon.
DeleteAt least Emma Dent Coad did not stab Judith Blakeman in the back to seize power as Leader of the Opposition and increase her allowances from the Council. To think she has been shafted by a slip of a girl.
