Sunak scraped the barrel in appointing the charlatan, Grant Shapps to run defence.
The Dame has written about the man's integrity bypass.
To give this most serious of jobs to Shapps is a slap in the face.
A few days ago our prime means of nuclear defence suffered serious defects. We all now know..... as do our enemies.
When we had serious government the Secretary of State for Defence would have slapped on a D Notice preventing publicity.
These days we have a DSMA-Notice 02: Nuclear and Non-Nuclear Weapon Systems and Equipment.
Shapp's instinctive action should have been to protect us by implementing this notice. He is a national disgrace.
Grant Shapps, a dim witted Government Minister who is incapable of doing whatever job he's given.

ReplyDeleteA test firing from a Royal Navy submarine of a Trident Nuclear Missile has ended in failure. Each missile and therefore test costs £17 million plus. The last test in 2016 also ended in failure. How confident are we that the U.K. actually has a functioning nuclear deterrent when the man reassuring us ‘all is fine’ is Grant Shapps?

DeleteWelwyn and Hatfield will go Labour just like it did in 1997. Welwyn village is nice.
‘Have I Got News For You’: ‘A Trident missile has misfired and crashed into the ocean just yards from the British nuclear submarine that launched it. When asked to confirm that the warhead test involved a dummy, the MoD were forced to admit yes, Grant Shapps was onboard.’
