She mentioned the many profitable fingers these two have in our Royal Borough pie....not least, the Alpha Plus schools, which these two property boys own and run.
She questioned whether our rather effete councillors were any match for the very grand 'Sir' John and his Old Etonian son, Jamie.
The answer must be an emphatic NO!
Lest we forget... the duo are sitting on a real deal in Bassett Rd, but that's small beer compared to what they are going to make redeveloping the Commonwealth Institute and the Odeon Cinema.
The question needs to be asked again....are the council and the Ritblats just too much in cahoots.

ReplyDeleteThese guys make a point of cosying up to the Council because they need planning permissions. Officers and self important Councillors love relationships with "rich people" but are totally out of their depth in understanding why they are getting attention.
DeleteNaive Wasp. Why do you think that certain Councillors have secret offshore bank accounts? One who used to plead poverty AND was a Chairman of planning had FOUR offshore bank accounts.

DeleteDear Dame, I think you mean 'Lancaster Road'. Bassett Road is the deal they lost, and are still very raw about. Some say they lost cc£1m over it.

DeleteThe complainant is that Grande Dame, Elizabeth Rutherford. It is said that she lusts after being Deputy Mayor again, so she wants Atkinson sacked from the post and sees this as a way of achieving her aim.
DeleteI think he was complaining about apparently racist and/or exclusive images on the Holland Park School website. The new £100 million Academy seems to want a pupil body that is exclusively white in future.
ReplyDeleteThis is a new version of Newspeak. Cllr Atkinson complains about racism - so he is branded a racist. You can see all the lovely blond, blue eyed pupils on the Holland Park School website for yourselves. The one in hijab got there only because she won a place at Oxbridge (and you have to look very hard to find her). Otherwise she would have been air-brushed out.
