Nothing escapes the Dame...
She now has hard evidence that Moylan has been machinating with Mrs. Mills, chair of the K&C Conservative Association LINK to deselect a number of sensible councillors who might try to stump Moylan's bid for leadership.
What might Mrs. Mills obtain from working with the ghastly, conniving Moylan?
Nothing less than the deputy leadership.
At last some signs of life from the K&C Tories. A clear out of the dead wood in time for the next local election in May next year.
ReplyDeleteIf the loos of the Tory MP plus the disaster of Grenfell is not enough to produce change, then what is required to wake these guys up?
A Labour ruling party in Hornton Street looms large. All chandeliers will be removed from the Town Hall.
Mrs Borwick's loo? Is there a problem with this?
DeleteOf course what should have been witten is "If the loss of the Tory MP plus the disaster of Grenfell is not enough to produce change"........
DeleteI have no knowledge of Lady Borwicks loo.
Mills has the balls to sort the Tories out. She is her own person. Certainly not a poodle of Moylan.
ReplyDeleteThe Chairman of the Conservatives, Cllr Mills, has a huge responsibility to rebuild the Royal Borough Tories in a new image and likeness. There are few who are capable of doing this. She knows what is required and how to do it. Eggshells will be broken.
DeleteThis is the group of Tory Councillors who voted in Dizzie Lizzie as their Leader. Can there be any greater evidence that they need to be culled?
ReplyDeleteBadger cull in Holland Park also required
DeleteAnon 11:28. You are confused.. the cull refers to HUMANS at the Town Hall and NOT to our little dear Badger family in Holland Park. Anyway, shame on you..
DeleteHe's clever, but Moylan is primarily a grotesque bully. He despises everyone, particularly the public. He's spent years making nice to developers. RBKC is already a toxic brand. Imagine the effect on public opinion if Moylan ends up sitting in Hornton Street spewing his venom in all directions. Remember Kensington High Street and Exhibitionist Road? Then multiply them by not 10, but 100. Julie Mills may think she can be Moylan's acceptable public face, but she'll fail. He's Trump with an education. Anyone but Moylan.
ReplyDeleteDo our lovely Conservatives actually have enough decent candidates to fill all their current seats, yet alone take the ones to which they aspire (eg Colville and St Helen's)? And will any of them have the guts (or good commonsense)even to stand in North Kensington?
ReplyDeleteA few disgruntled and has been Tory councillors are moaning. They should retire quietly and with dignity.
ReplyDeleteSeems like no one normal wants to do these jobs, its only those on the outside who see something in it, so to speak! They all seem to have complicated personal issues of some kind or another.
ReplyDeleteNo choice but to move out, just like Shane Carter.
This is a great post! Thank you for this informative blog. I just wanna recommend my blog that will ensure your information about Travel. And for more related blog posts.

DeleteSorry for the OT but heads up for TMO tenants.
ReplyDeleteApparently, there will be AGM after all. I don't know what to believe anymore but first I was told that it was scheduled for 22nd Sept but upon contacting TMO, it has been moved to 17th Oct. If anyone finds out about this, please let us know.
Also... we are delighted that TMO will be disbanded in the future...yet another grey clouds looms. The Council is considering an option for the stock to be managed by other HA. IF this happens, the council tenants may suffer a rising rent and eventually priced out of London. The trend is already happening with The Notting Hill Housing Trust and Genesis merger which tenants are opposing. They can see the social cleansing in operation too. The battle continues...

Moylan's pal Peter Bingle appearing on Vice "The London Lobbyist with Ties to Billions of Pounds of Gentrification"
ReplyDeletehttps://www.vice.com/en_uk/article/43avj3/the-london-lobbyist-with-ties-to-billions-of-pounds-of-gentrification
Very concerning to see how much time Cllr Moylan is spending with lobbyist Bingle. "Know your friends by the company they keep"
DeleteI too heard that the TMO AGM is on 17 October in the evening, when members will be asked to vote for the TMO to continue to manage their homes, as happens every year. Everyone votes for this to avoid falling into the hands of an even more rapacious housing association - like Notting Hill/Genesis
ReplyDeleteI don't know why we have to vote for the TMO to be disbanded. The Council has already decided that the TMO has to go and they don't want to manage the stock. What we need to question is... if a Housing Association will take over to manage, will they increase the rent to the point that the tenants will be priced out of the borough/London. We will need to get the guarantee in writing. No good TMO telling us that the extortionate rent increase won't happen because they will find the way to do so. Once the tenants are shipped out of London or wherever you must go, properties are empty, kerching. 1)Demolish like other estates, 2) Luxury flats for the foreign investors.
DeleteDo we know if RBKC housing representatives will be there to answer the question as well? If not, key people should be invited to answer our questions.
it will be very difficult to sort the chaff from the golden corn; they are all tainted by 'association' I wonder how many of the do-gooders would have spoken up (whistleblowed) had Grenfell not happened?
ReplyDeleteThe TMO are not revealing the date of the AGM until Monday because tomorrow is the 100th day since the Fire. It would not look good. Pity the Dame seems to have this scoop already - if it is true that it is actually 17th October?
ReplyDeleteLets go, see you there, the legend Eddie Grenfell are you coming too?
ReplyDeleteThe TMO threaten residents that if they do not vote for the TMO to continue to manage their homes, then they will be taken over by a housing association that will regenerate, sell off homes and put rents up to 80% market rate. This is a myth perpetrated by the TMO to keep themselves employed. Please do not be fooled by this. Come to the AGM on 17 October and vote to be rid of them once and for all (only TMO members can vote, so if you are not yet a member, join before 17th). Residents then have the power to take back control at their estate/locality level.
