CLLR BORWICK NAMED AS ONE OF LONDON'S MAJOR INFLUENCERS

A resident upbraids the Dame....

Dear Dame

I am fortunate enough to be a resident in Cllr Borwick's ward.
I stress fortunate because Cllr Borwick is tireless in her efforts on our behalf.
How she combines her various heavy responsibilities so effectively is a mystery to us all.

Anyway, I would have thought the Hornet would have immediately pointed out the fact that Boris's Statutory Deputy Mayor has been named by the Evening Standard as one of London's 1,000 people of influence.

Well done, Cllr Borwick.
It's well deserved and one hopes that your skills and experience will be used at a more localised level.

Kind regards

Paul W******

    1. Hornet readers request troll Palmer to keep his fingers in his pockets on this occasion

  2. It is sad that this lady's qualities were not encouraged and promoted in the Royal Borough by Cllr Pooter. Instead the insecure and inadequate disgraced ex Leader marginalised Cllr Borwick and forced her to find opportunity elsewhere

Good for Victoria. Cream always rises to the top.

    2. Palmer, it's about time that the Chief Whip took you to one side and gave you a final warning. And when are you going to explain why you were forced to pay £500 to the Conservative Association to help pay for telephone calls made to Australia? After all, who could you have been calling in Oz relevant to RBK&C issues?

    3. Cllr Palmer's comment about Cllr Borwick has been removed by the Dame.
It was crude, vulgar and reflected poorly on the dignity of our council

Hilarious that Cockell spent years blocking Borwick(jealousy) yet he is not on the list and she is...in fact, she is the only K&C cllr on the list as as far as I can see

  5. Residents have been shortchanged over Borwick. She is a natural leader and well liked across the spectrum....vital if you want to get things done.
But, we were denied her abilities because the insecure Cockell thought her a threat.
We have lost a champion for the Royal Borough through the inadequacies and insecurities of a silly little man.

  6. Cllrs Dent-Coade, Mills, and Gardner should be recognised and developed as public servants of quality and ability. The younger ranks have been decimated (Mosley, Cecil, Abbas) after promising Councillors became disillusioned by the sheer futility of Hornton Street.
Cllr Paget-Brown needs to reflect on these maters.

    1. Maters? Or matters?

      Or both?

    2. Both, all three are maters.
