This short and brilliant constructed film shows how the major damage to Chelsea & Kensington has mainly been done.
Residents need to remind themsleves that this is their Borough:planning officers and planning committee members are answerable to them...and them alone.
The planned destruction of those Victorian gems, Marlborough Primary School and Sutton Dwellings is just the latest in a long list of vandalistic actions.
If you love Chelsea then watch this BRILLIANT FILM
Brilliant. We should ask our Ward councillors to request that this video is screened at a full Council Meeting. Maybe the new Labour Leader could make the request.
ReplyDeletePickles is longer Minister for Local Government. It is Greg Clark, MP for Tonbridge and son of a Postman. No frills there - a no nonsense politician who sees it as it is.
Could the Dame approach Victoria Borwick (MP for Kensington) and Greg Hands (MP for Chelsea) and ask them to fix a meeting for Greg Clark to view the video and receive a delegation of K&C residents?
The new Labour spokesperson for planning, Cllr Dent Coad, can make her name here.
DeletePickles is being measured up for his new robes.. Cllr Coad will have to shout very loud.....
DeleteBrilliant film. The destruction of Kensington and Chelsea has been happening bit by bit, it's been made complicated and difficult for people to follow, This film shows greed in its entirety and the utter disregard for residents by the very people who are employed to represent us, Well done Dame and whoever produced this.
ReplyDeleteIt is incredible what is going on. We need a film like this for Kensington.
DeleteNotinghill Gate, Odeon Cinema, Commonwealth Centre, Lancer Square, Dukes Lodge, Charles House, Queen Elizabeth College, Holland Park School, Town Hall, basements, basements, basements, basements.........
DeleteThis video should be screened for 24 hrs in all K&C supermarkets and pubs with TV facilities for customers.

DeleteHow I cringed when the mug shots of Warwick and Bore appeared. The best friends in central London that a developer ever had.
ReplyDeleteThese two reptiles are the public face of destruction. The equally dangerous guy operating under cover of an Eton lisp is Cllr Fielding -Mellen
DeleteThis film captures the feelings of residents perfectly.
ReplyDeleteSpot-on Schumi! I could weep when I ponder what the fools of Hornton St are foisting on OUR borough. Force the craven claque to watch it Clockwork Orange-style! K&C is being systematically raped by greed-driven developments that push out real Londoners.
ReplyDeleteI was really sorry that my wide-asleep neighbours didn't vote Schumi on to the Council last year
DeleteIf we had proportional representation for the election of councillors, these disasters could not happen. The Lib Dems missed a golden opportunity by opting for the Alternative Vote rather than true PR for the referendum under the coalition government
