The Dame has just been tipped off that the Royal Brompton Hospital Advisory Group: a mixture of local interest groups,ward councillors, plus the RBKC Planning Team, have cancelled the meeting scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
This is very good news and congratulations are due to Tim Coleridge, the chairman and Cabinet member for Planning, for injecting some common sense.
Now all sides can sit down and work out the best solution to enable the Royal Marsden to take over the South Block of the Royal Brompton Hospital in Fulham Rd(known as the Fulham Wing).
Also included in the discussion will be(hopefully) representatives of the Institute of Cancer Research.
