Normally, the Dame, in her wisdom and gentility, removes crude and tasteless comments. In this case, she decided to let it stand. In this way, the world can see the vileness of extremists when their facades of faux comradeship are stripped away. The Dame has her own political views. What she does know is that Henderson deserves all the praise he gets. He's a man that overcomes every obstacle to get things done. Well done, Ian.
Hello troll @16.04 Henderson is everything EDC isn't. Caring, dedicated, fair minded, popular all over the borough and a champion of residents who saved the Sutton estate. Now if you don't have anything good to say I suggest you shut up and get back under your bridge.
He saved our homes and for my kids as well. We would have been stuffed by the property speculators if Mr Henderson had not taken such a brave stand against overwhelming odds. David and Goliath. Thanks mate.
Just the kind of Councillor we expect , unfortunately much of the time 'many' of the Labour Councillors are just not up to it. An act of folly by Kensington Labour to shaft Ian. Where was Starmer ?
When the defenestration of the effective members of Kensington Labour group happened Keir Starmer was not in complete control of Labour. He now is - which is why Labour Is offering us the highly electable Joe Powell at the imminent General Election and the fabulous and much missed Monica Press at the May 2nd Norland By-election. If l were not a serious republican l would be tempted to describe this as a Glorious Restoration & finger Mr Kear as 'Tumbledown Dick'
I remember Ian and Cllr Press unloading a lorry full of food for the foodbanks at the Venture Centre. The next thing we knew they were trundling a load of Easter Eggs along the Portobello Road and back to the Venture Centre. They told me Tesco had donated about 100 Easter Eggs to the Foodbanks and that day was the day they had to pick them up. So not only did they deliver 20k worth of food, they went the extra mile to get the Easter Eggs. Selfless committed Councillors doing it for the people . More of those kind of Councillors please. A well deserved award for someone who was always putting others first. First Class.
He helped me succeed my Mums flat after she died. He wasn't even a Councillor at the time. He just showed me time, kindness and empathy. Congratulations Mr H.
He brought Michael Antonio the West Ham stiker to the Tabernacle as part of the Black History month mural that he put together. I asked him if Icould meet Mike as he is the Captain in my Fifa team on the PS. He said ' of course you can meet him, he's here to meet young men like you, maybe he will inspire you , who knows maybe you will inspire him' . The guy is a legend and gave us the best Black History month mural eva !
I lost my wallet and was distraught. I got a call from the Royal Academy of which i am a member . Ian had found the walllet , saw my RA membership card, called them to connect with me and my wallet was returned. Its was all there, cash ,cards, everything. Yes give that man a medal , he saved my day !
Ian provided legal counsel to my grandfather (as one of the lead prosecutors on the case) which eventually helped to secure a confession out of the late Myra Hindley. God, what a Saint that man is. I hear he was also an advisor to Admiral Nelson and offered strategic advice on the positioning of troops at the Battle of Trafalgar. I also hear that he was single-handedly responsible for the sunshine across the south coast yesterday, as well as the capture of Bin Laden (it only happened because of his expert advice). He is just such an incredible man. We all love him. Saint Ian.
22.52 Must be the same person that wrote the fantastical bio of EDC , which claimed she was related to the Medici's, Christopher Columbus, the Borgia's and so on. Mr Hendersons achievements are real unlike Emma Dent Coad ( Maggie Dent ) even her name is made up.

ReplyDeleteYou are on of the very few in the Royal Borough who did something wonderful for social housing tenants.
Much deserved! Well done.
Who gives a shit? This doesn’t mean anything. A fake ‘honour’ for a fake man with no honour.

DeleteDear Dame,
DeleteWe should take the comment posted by 16.04 from whence it came.
I strongly suspect that 16.04 would not like us to judge their achievements in life and would not dare to put them on this blog for scrutiny.
In Ian Henderson we have a gem! It is a pity that the hard left of the Kensington CLP did not appreciate his efforts. The CLP was rough back then.
We now have three Dent Coad stooges representing Colville.
Take no notice of the rant from 16.04.
DeleteMay the good lord above, deliver us from the dregs of society.
The Constituency Labour Party was "rough" when Emma brought all those hard left people in.

ReplyDeleteLooks like 16.04's cage has been rattled
ReplyDelete16.04 Clarrie Mendy might not agree with you.
ReplyDeleteExcellent and well deserved, bravo Sir.

ReplyDeleteEDC is really Maggie Dent from Stepney.
DeleteEDC claimed in parliament that her DNA was engrained in the constituency - would that be Tower Crumblets?
And never mind the Royal bollocks that she likes to do to show that she is classier than the proles whom she professes to love so dearly.
Congratulations Ian, truly deserved.
